Compared Expedition Everest to Another WDW Roller Coaster...

I've never rode EE but my son is begging me to commit to riding it when we go in May.
I ride Splash, Thunder, RnR and Space Mountain...would you say that EE is at the same thrill level as SM and RnR? Less? Worse?

I'm not a thrill junkie so I don't do much more other than those.

I'm not a thrill junkie either but I'd say EE is better than SM. EE is smooth where SM is a herky jerky fair-type roller coaster enclosed in a dark building. I've ridden EE three times in a row. Haven't been on RnRC.

I think it's easily the best Roller coaster at WDW...also the most thrilling. Loops in RnR are not a big deal and it's totally dark.

EE is faster, higher, and out in the open. RnR might technically be faster in the starting mph, but EE just "feels" faster and more thrilling because of the turns and drops.

I was very nervous to ride EE 4 years ago, the CM asked me if I have been on BTMR which I had, she basically explained that it's the same but much smoother. Till this day I compare EE to BTMR only difference is you go backwards at one part which is pretty cool. It's a very tame roller coaster nothing to worry about.

PS: I'm not a roller coaster thrill seeker myself I go to six flags..and refuse any of the rides. Went on Batman once and I promised myself I'd never go on a coaster again until BTMR and RnRC!

Give it a try John, it's awesome. Like I said in my previous post I went on Batman I felt nauseous, dizzy, and wanted to go home right after. I finally gained the courage for RnRC and it was a blast! (literally with the take off ) It's so smooth you cannot even tell you are going upside down. This past January during EMH my girlfriend and I rode it 9 times in a row...yes, 9 times in a row...awesome ride.

The backwards bit is thrilling, a bit of an oomph in your belly, otherwise EE is pretty tame and can easily be enjoyed if you do Space and RnRC.

I find thunder and space more thrilling than EE, mainly because I always feel like my head is going to collide with something.

EE feels faster than RnR to me....I'd say it is the most intense coaster at WDW, but just by a little bit. It is still not like riding a big Six Flags behemoth or something that exists solely to make on ride bowel movements a real possibility.

Okay, maybe. I'm thinking mid May anyway for last weekend of F&G Festival and a SW weekend.

It isn't at all like any of the other coasters, but not considerably more intense, either. However, IMO the backwards helix and RnRc's launch and first two inversions are the two most intense moments on any WDW ride.

Its Space Mountain outside. Then there's the backwards bit which can't compare to any coaster I know

It isn't the Matterhorn...that's closer to space mountain "outside" than anything.

EE is a bigger, faster, Thunder Mountain...I don't even compare it to Rock'n'Roller Coaster.
