Lots of companies copy Disney's service model to some degree or another. During the 90s and the rise of the Total Quality Management movement, Disney was one of the most celebrated practitioners of TQM. I remember seeing them refered to in training videos in management classes and even at some jobs I have worked.

Imitation is the highest form of flattery!
I know this isn't the kind of copying you meant but Six Flags Great America (Chicago) just opened their new water park - Hurricane Harbor. My husband was the first one to point out that seems an awful lot Typhoon Lagoon!

the name hurricane harbor is a synanym of typhoon lagoon.
but we have to remember disney didn't create the first theme park or the first rollercoaster, so in a sense disney is "copying"other parks too

just my $0.02

I was just at a theme park in New Hampshire called Canobie Lake which had areas eerily similar to Disney. There's the Mad Tea Party, and area that looks alot like Fantasyland, etc, etc. I also found a sign that said "Cast Members Only"

There's the Lost Island waterpark in my town, which is basically Typhoon Lagoon Tiki style. In fact, I heard somewhere that former Imagineers that designed Typhoon Lagoon helped design that park.
Also there is Adventureland in Des Moines which has Main Street, a train station identical to Disneyland's with a floral A, a Frontierland style area with tombstones copying some of the Haunted Mansion's as well as a shooting gallery with laser rifles and animatronics, one of the meet and greet characters looks like a depressed girl Pluto, there's the Teacups and then there is the Underground which is like a craptacular animatronics based ride based on mining that has this wierd projected skeleton in a scene with the Good Bad and the Ugly music playing.
