Comments about my dining choices?

Heading for the great escape.
Table Service:
Mama Melrose (Fantasmic package), had a very poor meal there a few visits ago, thinking about trying it again in 07. But then MGM is very limited in food places.
Boatwrights : Only had a breakfast there
Yacht Club Galley: never been
Spoodles: Ate there this summer, a greatly reduced menu than on previous trips, but what we had was very nice and the service exceptional. It was fairly quiet despite being August.
Coral Reef: Never been
Le Cellier: Ate there this summer, to quote a well known rapper " dont believe the hype" service was slow, the steak was of lower quality than that I ate at the Longhorn two days earlier. The much vaunted cheese soup was average. We put it down to the free dinning and may give it another try this summer.

Quick service:
Typhoon Tilly's (at TL) Typical water park dinning, the birds can be a real pain and this summer seating was in great demand.
Peco Bills: Now that Pinnochios has changed, THE place for a burger at the MKGaspirilla Grill (at GF)
Sunshine Seasons; Nope
Tusker House: A surprise hit, the food was good. The only thing is it can get nippy with the a/c
BC Marketplace: not done this either.

Wasnt there a recent report that Tusker House was becoming a buffet/character meal and was no longer going to be counter service?

Yeah there is a lot of rumours about that but its still open at the moment so thats all the more reason not to miss it....i love the atmosphere sitting outside there.

I just got an email from AllEars, and coincidentally, they had the results of a survey about the best (and worst) dining choices in each park for 2006. I've copied and pasted them here. Two of my choices are on this list (Tusker House and Le Cellier). ITA with those who voted L'Originale Alfredo in last place; we were there in '04 and it wasn't good at all. I also agree with Tony's last place choice, as well as the high praise for Wolfgang Puck Express, which was great!

As the saying goes "opinions are like ______ holes, everyone has one", Have to say we ate at Hollywood and Vine in August and it was rank rotten, not a patch on previous visits. Where as SciFi Dine in is a great venue with burger and fries type food. And as this and other threads show many would dispute the merits of Le Cellieur.

Luckily we all like different things, just a shame that Disneys stripped down standardised menus fail to reflect this.
