Just wondering how this hotel is? As it is going very cheap and I am looking about staying here. Is it close to Disney world? Free shuttles? Any good places around the hotel?
Thanks.

I'd like to know as well, I was just about to post about this one. The only thing i'm concerned about is the buses to and from the parks.

I've stayed there a few times because they're pet friendly.
I think it's a nice place for the money. Nothing great, but nice.
It's behind the Crossroads Mall.
The rooms were clean, and fairly new.
Forget the breakfast buffet because it's always packed.
Don't know about the buses because we drive everywhere.
It's basically an off-site All Star Resort without all the fiber glass stuff.
Lots of places to eat around there - Fridays, UNO, Hooters, Chevy's, Mickey D's, some sort of Tapanyaki.

As Palmage said, it's nothing spectacular, but clean and comfy.

I've visited off-peak and had no problem getting into the breakfast buffet. The freebie one was enough to fill me up for the morning - fruit, cold cereal, hot oatmeal, toast and bagels.

It's right on the border of Disney World. I've not used the shuttle, but the schedule is on their website:

The shuttles don't run to the frequency of Disney Property where you can come and go throughout the day, but they get you there and back.

I have stayed there for the last 5 years that I've gone to Disney. I was just there back on Jan 31 and one of their elevators close to the room my dad and I always get was out of order...so trying to carry up 5 floors with 3 bags wasn't fun...plus I had to keep an eye out on my left elbow and try and not dislocate it before I got on my cruise (with disney), but I know for a fact that the elevators between two of the buildings (they have 4 buildings) and those 2 elevators were working. It has been a great hotel. I've only had one problem out of the 15-20+ stays with them. The food is great. You can even see some of the firework shows at night, which is awesome. :p

We stayed there multiple times until about 4 years ago when our kids got too big for a room that size anymore. So we now stay in condo's with full kitchens for 90 to 100 per night. The Comfort Inn was OK. Nothing fancy, fairly clean, close enough (we always had a car), and fairly inexpensive.

Have fun!

Just to let anyone who i worried about the Comfort inn, we had a great time. The rooms were clean the staff were very helpful, the swimming pool was nice and clean, although we did have some maintence going on around the pool side but it was ok. breakfast time was a little busy but the food was nice and simple, evening dinner was very good and we add no complaints about the food or the service. Throught our our two weeks we enjoyed the shuttle service, the driver was the best in Florida.... helpful, funny and very nice. he made our journeys very plesent and all round we ad the best holiday ever. Our only complaint would be the shop.... the staff nearly always guessed the prices so watch out.

if anyone wants to know anything just ask.

I just got back from staying here. The room was clean and the staff was nice. I did have some allergic reaction to something in the room. It could be the carpet or something they use to clean. I don't know. The pool was great. Breakfast was pretty good. The location is amazing though. It's just a few minutes away from WDW.

We were loking at this hotel for this yeah, but ended up booking somewhere else, we were told there is a lot of noise as you're right next to the road, But you dont really spend that much time in the hotels (well i dont anyway!) so its shouldnt be too bad, :)

I've stayed on the I4 side and the quieter side. Did not have a noise problem once in the room. Other than some drunk business men who decided to hold an impromptu meeting outside my room at three in the morning.

My group and I stopped at the hotel before we went on to Disney... We didnt arrive until 2 in the morning ... lukily they had rooms available ... however, they put us in the set closes to the interstate ... we were already so tired ... it took me another 2 hours just to fall assleep! It was a clean place ... but the noise drove me insane! If you are going to stay here request to be away from the interstate!

Yeh, as i have just read, the rooms near the I4 are supposed to be noisey, we had a room near the parking lot as we emailed the office and asked if they could make sure our room was now facing the I4. They were very helpful and we had no problems with noise. during the afternoons we sat at the pool and yeh it was noisey... but we were on holiday and had a reat time anyway.... its a shame you have to get a taxi to the Premium outlets which are just across the I4.... Oh well.

This hotel is our perenial stay for the night before we check into our WDW resort! With the cheap prices, decent rooms and a CiCi's pizza just a hop skip and a jump away, it made for a wonderful time for our family.

We usually have two days of driving under our belt, at 9 hours a day, and this place truly is Comforting.

CHEAP TOO!
