Combining reservations

Is it possible to combine reservations at check-in?
If we have three, room only, nights booked at Pop (because there was no discount offers on those dates) and then a week at Pop with a Magic your Way + Dining package, can they combine the two?? OR, would they remain as two totally separate reservations even once we arrive?
Also, IF we book 10 park days on the Magic your Way + Dining package (even though it's only 6 nights), AND they can combine the reservations, could we start using them from the time we arrive??
I hope the way I asked makes sense :veryconfu
If anyone has experience with this it would be greatly appreciated!

I believe in most cases you will need to wait until your tickets are available on the day that the package begins, however, there may be a procedure that some CM's know that can get it for you earlier.

I am sure someone on here may be able to assist.

I have read on here (though have no first-hand experience) that tickets *can* be retrieved from a package reservation a few days before checkin. It requires you to go to Guest Relations at one of the parks, and they need to call the resort. (I may also require a manager if the CM at the window doesn't know how to do it) And I wouldn't be surprised if the process isn't all the quick...

But from what I've read, it *can* be done.

Dining Plan credits, though, cannot be retrieved early. You'll also have to go to the Front Desk to check out of one reservation and into the second. And when you check in for the first, make sure to mention that you have a continuing reservation, and they'll do everything they can to make sure you're assigned the same room for both reservations.

I'd call ahead and talk to a CM a bout what you want to do. If they say yes, get the name of the CM who helped you, and ask for it to be noted on your reservation, in case the CM who checks you in doesn't understand.

I would guess they'd be more amenable to give you your tickets earlier if you either a: add days; b: add other options like no expiration or water park access; or c: a+b.
