You people are making this too easy!

I want some grammatical accountability here!!

"Colours" I can deal with.

You will notice that I NEVER comment on English errors if I can tell that the poster is not in the US. (and the unnecessary "u" in colors, etc. is not an error--just a charming affectation)

Lol!! Hi Barnum

SSE`s lighting is all from off the Geosphere. As you exit Epcot at night through the main entrance, look above the turnstyles - on the canopy you can see rows of floodlights pointing upwards. Similar lighting is on each buildings roof at the base of the support pylons. I don`t know if there is any on the roof of Earthstation.... Ok ok, Global empty Neighbourhood.

I think before the Americans mangled it, the correct spelling was generally considered to be "Colours".

 ;)

Thank you!

Interesting how becoming a World power creates the mindset that you must have originated everything, including the "Queen's/King's English"? And thus correcting their centuries-old skewing of a language comes as the result of a "charming affectation"! A charming affectation takes something from its original form and adjusts it ever-so-slightly, but in a cute way... Hhhmmmm...

I share a continent with such interesting people

- In House designed SERVO Floods. Fresnelite style. With internal color scroller. 7k i think.

I don't belive it is done with a CYM changer like you said. I am sure they are just using differnt lights at different times to make the colors. If you take the monorail through Epcot you can see the lights, each has its own colored dichroic glass on the front. My guess is when they want a blue/magenta wash they only turn on blue and magenta but when they want a blue/yellow wash the magenta fades to black and the yellow is brought up in intensity.

Didn't they stop changing the color...?

I haven't seen it anything other than purple-ish in ages.

Correct. Spaceship Earth's lighting does not change, except for when they darken the southern half for IllumiNations.

I never noticed that they dim the lights on SE for Illuminations. I guess because most of the time I look in the opposite direction when I watch it.
