Hey guys! I just had two questions about Disney's College Program.
Are there classes avaliable for science/biology majors at the College Program?
And where exactly are the college program classes held?
I'm wondering b/c i hope to apply for the college program for part of my junior year of college (i'll be a sophomore in the fall). I also hope to intern and eventually work at the Animal Kingdom too. So yeah, if anyone could help with these questions or have any other advice that would be wonderful! Thanks! :)

i dont believe that any of the classes are at all related to biology... all of the classes are related to the businesss of disney there are marketing classes, as well as an engineering class and things along those lines.... the classes are held at the vista way apartment complex...

In regards to the animal kingdom, you have no say in where you work you can only express what types of jobs you'd like to have.... there are some advanced internships (they might be called something else now) where you work in animal programs or with the marine life at the living seas but usually for an advanced internship you have to comlete a semester doing a regular college program... in some cases this is not true so you should look further into it...

hope i was helpful (and accurate)

There are no strictly College Program roles related to Biology. However, there are several Professional Internship roles directly related to various areas of the Biological Sciences. There are roles in both the plant and animal sciences, and (to my knowledge) none of these require prior experience with the WDW College Program. To see a list of the currently available science internships, go to disneycareers.com, and type in "science."

Just a bit of clarification... Some classes are at Vista, Some are at Disney University, some are at Chatham and some are at Mickey's Retreat. Marketing U is not actually marketing a product unless you consider yourself a product. It's about selling yourself (job hunting, interviewing, networking, ect.) Also it's good to keep in mind that the majority (at LEAST 99 percent) of people that secure professional internships (what used to be called advanced internships) must first complete a regular college program. That being said, your college program can lead you straight into a professional internship. For example, you could do a college program from January until May, then do a professional internship from May until December (if the dates so happen to fall as such).
