College Program-ish Question

I discovered today that I'm about a semester ahead in school, so I can graduate a semester early...or I can spend one in Disney. So here's my question. I know all about the CP. It interests me, but I'm not really sure I'd be able to swing my parents into it, or actually be away from something academic for a whole semester (i know, im a nerd). I had heard about other types of internships at Disney, specifically I heard about something along the lines of an Animal Behavior Internship at AK. Does anyone know of anything like this? Any feedback would be great!

yup, they're called Professional Internships- here's a link

http://disney.go.com/disneycareers/internships/home.html

and just as a sidenote, if you wanted to do the CP, you can do it the semester right after you graduate-you just have to apply while you're still in school

thanks! though i think i was saving the after college thing for the peace corps or an intense masters/phd program. hence my desire to spend some time in disney before all that craziness. :p

Well, I'm not too well-versed in the DAK internships, but if you're interested in agriculture/botany at all, I can personally recommend the Epcot Plant Science internships.

I thought to be considered for an Advanced Internship you must first complete a regular College Program?
Not necessarily. Certain internships do require that you be a previous participant in the CP, but not all of them do. I have an interview for an internship with Casting Recruitment (:D), and I have not participated in the CP.

That is very cool (about the animal behavior internship). I'm planning on majoring in animal science or zoology, so I'd be very interested in that!
