College Program and Careerstart

It can kind of be a love-hate relationship. When you're down there doing the program, you'll complain about the hours, complain about your roommates, complain about your managers, and anything else you can think of. Then when you go back home, you'll realize what an amazing experience you had and appreciate the life-long bonds you've made with everyone you met. Don't get me wrong, you will have a good time when you're there playing in the parks and hanging out with your new friends, but, as with anything else, you won't realize how amazing it was until it's gone. If you end up deciding to do the program, my best piece of advice would be to stick it out if you don't like it at the beginning- it's a big adjustment for most people, and it most likely will get better. At one point in the beginning of my program, me and all 5 of my roommates were sure that we all wanted to quit...and only 1 girl ended up doing so! So appreciate it while you're there...I miss it soooooooooo much!

I haven't done it yet but I've already promised myself if I do its till the end! I love Disney, so even if I hate it I'd probably stay just to be loyal!:D But thanks for telling me what you thought!

I LOVED IT!!!!!!!! I would totally do another one but I need to graduate so I can move down! The program is what you make of it. I loved disney before I went down so I had a blast. Warning: It is HARD comming back into the real world! I went back for spring break to visit and have had a harder time than the begining of the semester.

After I graduate I'm planning on moving down there too! (that is if I hopefully get a job offer one day:))

ps everyone ive talked to that's been in the program has loved it... the only ones that didnt enjoy it were the people who went down expecting to make tons of money or just went to get away from school/parents/etc for a while... many of them didnt realize what exactly they were getting into. But if you love Disney and work hard, everyone says you should have a great time :)

Had the time of my life, and the best decision I've ever made....

Definitely hard to come back to the real world though. It's been a little over a year and not a single day goes by that I don't think about it and how much I miss it

Yea I miss it so much! Especially when we have a rainy day here! I've even looked into schools in the area but don't know if I'm ready to move that far from home and if it would be worth loosing credits.

That's pretty much it. Free admission (for yourself), limited free admission for up to 3 guests on 6 different days, resort discounts, dining discounts, and merchandise discounts.

If you are not planning on applying, just let them know (if they ask). You will not have to interview.:)
