College program after college

Hi,
Sorry; more questions! Can I still apply for the WDW college program after graduation? How are the professional internships different from the college program? Would you recommend doing the college program before applying for internships? It seems it would be cool to have all the college students there and have a more "fun" experience first. Are the professional internships more stressful? Thanks!

Also, even if I'm not planning on going into entertainment, would you recommend applying for entertainment? What kinds of things do they do? I think it would be cool to work on the safari or Jungle Cruise, but I don't know what department that's related to. How much guest interaction would you get going into entertainment compared to attractions? Or is entertainment more like shows, character meet and greets, etc.? Thanks again!

Hi. Let me see if I can answer your questions. I know you can still do the CP right after you graduate (I plan on doing the CP, again, right after I graduate school). But if you mean as in years after graduating, I don't know. I know you have to be a full time/part time student to participate on the CP, so I would have to say probably not. The PIs (Professional Internships) are different from the CP as they're more of managerial positions, higher internships. I would definetely say do the CP first because you get more experience that way. I would say go for entertainment. I have no dance skills whatsoever, and I'm auditioning for the CP in March. Entertainment is the character performers and the charater attendants. The characters do meet and greets, character dining, shows and parades (if you have the skill level), ect. And the attendants help out the characters and the guests. Safari and JC are both under operations. I hope this helped. If you have more questions, feel free to PM me, or AIM (it's joanna71985). Good luck!:) Also, the CP website is www.wdwcollegeprogram.com (it's really good).
