Collecting Gift Card

Can someone please help me with some advice on collecting a Disney Gift Card?

We’re arriving at AKL next month and as part of our package we have a gift card to collect. Does this get given to us at the hotel or do we have to go elsewhere to collect it?

If it makes a difference we booked through a UK travel agent.

I believe the way they do it now is that you'll get a voucher with your pack from the travel agent a few weeks before you leave. You'll then need to take this to Disney Springs and redeem it for a Gift Card at the World of Disney store.
