Did anybody get the collectible internet pin that you get free when you purchase the Disney Magical Moments pins. You get this pin free when you collect the virtual pins on the official wdw web site. We went to MGM Sat (10/14) and they were all ready out of them. The CM told me that they thought they had made enough of them to last until June 30, 2002, but they were out of them the first day (within a few hours). She said there was a line several hundred feet long waiting for the pins. They were making more pins but wouldn't have any until atleast 10/23-10/25. which stinks b/c we came back yesterday.

We'll anyway, did anybody get one? I was wondering what they looked like.

Yep, I got one. I was there the first day and people were lined up with all five of the light up pins so that they could get five of the others... I don't think they were out of them the first day, though. I know they wren't out of them in the first hours because I didn't get mine till the end of the day... They couldn't have run out of them too long ago. It only takes about 2 weeks to get a new supply of a design that they already have the stamps for and that includes the overseas shipping time... BTW, check your, PM box in a minute or two...

I was there the first week of the celebration, and I didn't get one. I was told by a CM working under the hat that right when the park opened Oct. 1st one woman bought 83 of the pins and got something like 320 of the internet pins, because you can get 4 internet pins per Magic Moment pin. I couldn't believe that they didn't limit her, I mean, that is a little unfair to all the other people like myself who just wanted 1 internet pin. They kept telling us that they would have them within a week, but never seemed to get them in. They told us to hold onto our receipts and if we knew anyone who is going back by June 30, 2002, we can get them, if they have any in stock then. I do know someone going down in February, but what are the odds that they will still have them?? :(

What? You say they were letting you get up to 4 of the free pins with the purchase of one of the light-ups? That's news to me and probably just about everyone else I was in line with that first day. It sounds as though some cast member got the rules mixed up...

It says right on the bottom of the certificate that you can get up to 4 internet pins with each purchase. But 320? That's out of control!!

I was at the studios on opening day as well , and the first to receive the Internet pins with my certificit . I also got the pin of the month and four 100 years of magic pins ( Visionary , the Imagineer , the Entertainer ,the Innovator). One of the big problems for me ,was the layout of the counters under the hat ,forcing everyone into two lines up the stairs . Bypassing the Magical Moments Kiosk.

Wow, I guess I'll have to look over that more closely when I go back. I can tell you without a doubt that they weren't doing that in the line I was in. They had two people working the stores: one to bag and one to take your money and the person bagging wasn't taking any requests. I didn't even think I got my free pin at first...
