Cold February in WDW this year?

I'm thinking we will do Feb. 27 through March 3. I think everything is over by then but it is the week of Mardi Gras. Does that make much of a difference crowd wise? I am wondering now if the second week of March would be better. The UT crowd calendar is showing 5/10 and 6/10 that week. The week before is mostly 3/10 and 4/10.
We went this year from Feb. 29 to March 8. The weather was great-daytime temps in the high 70s-low 80s, with nighttime temps usually hovering around the upper 50s-low 60s, although our first and last night it dipped down to almost 50. I was standing there, watching Wishes on our last night, shivering a bit. I have been to WDW three times, for a total of 14 days, and I have not once seen a rainy day, or even an overcast day, just sunny and warm. Now, I have experienced Florida cold-in January of 2015, we visited my parents who were vacationing in Cape Coral, which is not far from the Keys. Gonna be warm, right? Nope-only one day the temp got up to 80, and one night the temperature dropped to the freezing point. Of course, that winter was cold for all of North America.

Awesome!!!! How exciting?! Where are u staying?
Really excited! I'm happy I was able to get all my friends together from all parts of the country for this trip. My future father-in-law is a DVC member and let us use points. We are putting 8 guys in a 2 bedroom villa in Bay Lake Towers.

Since we weren't able to go to DW in Oct. I am trying to plan for early 2017. I am looking at the last week of Feb./first week of March or the last week of April.
I would rather do Feb. because I'm afraid that April will be too hot. However, I have noticed that there have been predictions for a cold winter this year that will stay around longer. It makes me nervous that Feb. may be too cold.
I know that I'm more than likely over reacting and reading too much into this but it's getting me a little nervous.
Have any of you been in Feb. and April? Which did you prefer based on crowds and weather?

I've visited WDW in April twice, and both times the weather was lovely. Not too hot during the day, and yeah, a bit chilly in the evening. If you book a trip then, bring a sweater.

My first trip was during the month of February a while back. As I recall they'll have the water parks closed, but it's not uncomfortably cold at all. After all, Walt chose Florida partially for its warm year round climate!
