Just returning from Disney this week, I was wondering where does all the coins from the fountains and rides ( Its a Small World) go once they retrieve it. Thanks.:sohappy:

NASAMan said:I believe they are given to Give Kids the World, which provides a place for children and their families come for 'Make a Wish'. They have trained staff to help care for kids illnesses, accessible playgrounds and pools for those confined to wheelchairs, and care services so mom and dad can get a break as well. Many Disney cast members volunteer there.
Throw your change into those ponds.
Some coins are adhered into various fountains and such for theming. So they stay year after year. Perhaps some of the corroded ones you've seen where afixed?Nicole said:But if you look in some of the water areas of WDW you can see lots of corroding metal, that's been there a looong time.
