Coffee in AK

I had the best coffee last week in Tusker House at AK. It tasted different than other coffees I had in the parks. Anyone know what they serve? Maybe an African blend? Boy it was yummy!

I think you might be talking about the special shade-grown coffee that's sold at Disney's Animal Kingdom. While I'm not a coffee person myself, I hear the shade-grown coffee sold at DAK is fantastic.

Sorry, I can't answer your question, but I wonder if the great coffee at Boma in AKL is the same as at Tusker House. They serve a fine "standard" coffee and also a press? coffee. Both are wonderful. I would love more info on the AKL coffees as well as Tusker House.

Midmorning coffee at the Tusker House is mandatory when we are in AK. It used to be even better when they served those cinnamon buns that were made in those huge iron skillets. They have since changed to the standard cinnamon bun (we lament the loss) but the coffee is always good.

Do you have any idea of the name of it, or where I can find out? I really would love to get ahold of some for home.

My wife and I have gotten countless recipes from various restaurants at the World using that approach.

I was able to talk to a manager at Tusker House today and got the answer. I was surprised to hear that it is Nescafe liquid concentrate, columbia blend, only available commercially LOL I expected some special exotic blend or something.
