Having just visited Alton Towers Im totally hooked on there new coaster AIR. The lying position is really comfortable and the ride was very smooth indeed, this is helped buy having a slower ride speed in comparison to Nemisis. Infact my only complaint with Tusaudds is that there is zero themeing on the ride.
It started me thinking that perhaps a ride of this type themed along Peter Pans flight around Neverland would be suited to the MK. Ok the usuall restrictions would apply but cant see why it wouldnt work. And the foot print required to build it would not be that great either.
This ride has convinced me that a coaster does not have to be gonads out full pelt to be enjoyable. Oh and bean counters it only cost £6 million or about the cost of a reasonable midfielder. So for say £20 you could have a hell of a ride virtually bug free.

I don't think disney would build a B&M Flying coaster at the Magic Kingdom but they could if they build the rumored Coaster Kingdom. I don't diseny will build that either. Good Idea though:king:

I don't know if this is true or not but I heard B&M won't work with Disney, or it might be the other way around. Anyways, as much as I would love to see this at a Disney park I think the Peter Pan theme might not work, but I do love the idea. As much as I would love to be flying over London and around Big Ben on a stary night, on this ride, and then staight into the sky off to Neverland, I think the height restriction for this type of ride would limit the young kids from going on. But I could also see the type of coaster used as the Dragon coaster for Beastly Kingdom or even the defunct Fire Mountain. But again, as I said, I heard B&M will not work with Disney, unfortunatly. :veryconfu

Fire Mountain was supposed to be flying but then they decided that the loading time for this type of coaster was not to their standard and they decided on a hybrid coaster, then that was to expensive and it was sketchy what the third type would have been as the project was then delayed indefinitely.

In general Disney has the potential to build many well themed coasters, it is very possible and has been a problem I have done a lot of work on and just by myself I have come up with many ways of theming all types of rollercoaster track to Disney standards so I am sure that that it is very possible that we will see bigger coasters from Disney in the future

I'm not sure if they'd put a flying coaster in. After all, they've never even put a 'floorless' coaster in yet! Wouldn't mind seeing a ride like that though.

WDW needs a kick butt coaster...it really does, I'm not saying that it should look or be anything like the HULK or Dueling Dragons...but it should be completely indoors and have some NEW technology added to it...I hope the Dragon coaster is built at AK...I really do...or better yet, how about a Tarzan coaster??? You know how he slides down the trees...it would be cool to be able to do that...or some kind of ride that lets you do that.

B&M will not build for Disney because Disney wanted custom made coaster train's and B&M dosen't do anything custom for anybody. It would be very cool if they could though. Peter Pan is a very good idea. I have a new one. How about a B&M Flying Coaster themed to Toy Story. When Buzz gets the Firecracer on his back. The starting sation can be Sid's front door. They can have you blast up then go though the like you normaly wound ecept the end station will be the trunk of a moving van. Hope you like my idea:king:

I Don't know .. i think B&M does customize the coaster cars for a specific coaster .. look at the Hulk and Dueling Dragons .. the dragon trains have a dragons head on front and scales above the cars .. well .. the hulk doesn't really have anything exept that cool looking lead car .

I think it would be cool to replace this kinda coaster in space mountain or theme it to sumthin that has to do with flight, like it could be a dueling coaster themed to a fight between hades and hercules tryin to save mt. olympus or it could be themed to Alladin on a magic carpet inside the cave of Wonders.

thats just my ideas but it will prolly never happen:)

On my thread Dragon's Lair at Beastly Kingdom I talk about a flying coaster I made for the rumored Beastly Kingdom. It's really cool you should check it out.
