Glad to see Six Flags back up there after its financial troubles they had a few years back. Obviously not nearly as good as WDW or Universal, but going to Six Flags (great adventure in NJ is my local one) is always a fun place to go for a day or two.

We're planning a trip to Worlds of Fun in Kansas City next summer. I haven't been there since i was 8 and rode my 1st rollercoaster there!

He was Disney for nearly 17 years... he was the one who saved the 50th celebration for Disneyland and brought DLR out of it's nightmare from being under Pressler/Harris. Then Disney ran him out by passing him over with 'Yes Men' and stick figures like Ed Grier.

As a Kings Island season passholder, I am contractually obligated to thank Disney for sending him our way.

Hilarious. I managed the Orient Express for about 5 years.

It's a shame how the park went from being one of the very best in the country to just a half-day park since Cedar Fair purchased them.

I have lost track of how many thousands of negative posts I have found on this board (some may be suprised to find many other boards discussing the same topics except the tone not negative) over the last few years insisting that Disney is ruining everything and their attendance will show that.

Well, how come it keeps going up?
Because tons of people are first time visitors, and most people who are repeat visitors aren't as fanatical like people on these boards so most of the stuff we are complaining about they don't even know about or realize

That reasoning can't last forever. If Disney is screwing up as bad as a lot of people suggest here, eventually there shouldn't be tons of repeat visitors.

However, these predictions haven't been going on for 24 months, I believe we may be at 8-10 years now and still none of these things come to pass.

I do agree. Most if the people who always talk about the bad aspects of Disney never talk about the good aspects and tend to over exaggerate the bad aspects

Why so many people hang out of these boards 24/7 suggesting what they are talking about sucks so bad that everyone at TDO is an idiot is hard to believe too.

Why not find something that doesn't suck and hang out there for a bit?

Is it ironic that you are speaking of people logging in complaining about things that are broken or wrong at WDW, while rocking a Disco Yeti "Fix Me" avatar? Can someone call Alanis and figure out if that fits either the real definition or her definition of irony?

Once again, everybody together. People on these boards are fanatical about their love for Disney. If something is going wrong in their opinion, it is their right to voice that opinion. Most times folks with true love for a product are the ones that hold the microscope up closest and find it's flaws. People speak their opinions of what is right and what is wrong in hopes that somehow, someway, these things will be corrected or improved so that a product they love dearly can once again hold up to the standards they feel appropriate.
