CMs: MG Name Tags?

Oh, I know. And I've done the same. When they spelled my name TLYER on my 100YOM tag, I went back to them, and they were so embarrassed by the mistake they made me a new one. But of course, they wouldn't do that for WML.

I said no, but not because I think they shouldn't get new name tags. I think they need to just go back to the origional Mickey tags... especially with Mickey's 75th approaching... It ties in a little more than MG. MG doesn't apply to everyone... in other words, not everyone is there because they went with a big group. Mickey is universal...

I can only hope that we never lose sight of one thing; that it was all started by a mouse. One of my old friends once said something like that.

It seems that Disney in order to cut cost has started outsourcing the nametags. They are no longer made on property back in the barn. With the new crew the College Program get's to return to placing their college on the nametag. You may also notice that these new "Magical" name tags are slightly smaller. Figured I'd share with the class, but it doen't look like there will be new nametags until the EPCOT celebration.

I voted yes but now after reading all the arguments i dont think they should. I think that they should give out 2 name tags at the beginging of the year. Then they cand just say Waltdisney Comp. or something like that.

Since it seems Tikerbell is the Mascot of Magical Gatherings, I think that the current nametags will be the ones worn throughout the campaign.

Well, unfortunatly guys and gals. We CMs will be getting yet ANOTHER new damn name tag......it was confirmed to me when I was at EPCOT today. Someone from TT also said they where told the same thing.

As a guest the cast members should get new name tags (preferably spelled correctly) as we do pay attention to them.

Just what we need... another nametag fiasco. I wonder how many attempts (& months) it'll take for them to get my nametag done correctly... or maybe I should just change my name to Tlyer... lol

I wouldn't doubt it... I almost got three written reprimands because of the nametag issue this past time around. Managers kept wanting to give me a reprimand, and my response would be, "How about instead of giving me a reprimand, you actually get me a nametag instead?" They didn't have much to say after that, and I might add, they didn't get me a nametag either.

But of course....They have to complain to someone...and they obviously cant go to a guest to complain about our mistakes....so they just turn it on us....

No but seriously, some managers are very cool, others seem to have that bug up their......well you get what I mean.

I agree... and in fact thought that current name tags were designed for Magical Gatherings.
