CMs: MG Name Tags?

Well, what do you think about getting new name tags for the Magical Gatherings?

We prolly will. I was talkin to a buddie of mine and he brought up the subject about if we should get new ones or not.

The Magical Gatherings begin Oct 9th.....

I said it once, and I'll say it again. If Disney is having such financial problems, dump the money you were going to spend on new name tags into something like more rides, or something like that

I would love to get new name tags for MG, but I would be surprized if we did because of the trouble that everyone had getting their WTML ones. I know some cast members to this day that have yet to get their current name tags. Another reason is that Tink is prominent on both the MG and WTML campains, so they kind of tie in together.

LoL, I like how everyone think Disney is LOOSING money...Thats just not the case...Disney is making a profit as always, they aren't making as much money as they wish. Thus they are loosing expected profits, not actual money.

Michael... the nametags cost at most $1 to fabricate and distribute... times 55k CM's..... that's not a real big expenditure. That's pocket change for Disney

ok, but what could $55,000 do to just one area of a park? Plus I'm really getting sick of the new tags, just keep them the same, if they get new ones this year, they will have had 3 diff name tags this year

ok...

you could put new props on the Disney Characters on Holiday Bus. Disney could buy 2 new 15 passenger vans and a Chevy Cavalier to add to the company fleet. They could paint..... a little. They could hire 1 new (slightly higher paid) manager.

But they can't develop a new attraction, they can't refurbish a current one, and they can't bring one back from the dead. Nor can they bring back a parade or show, and they can't fix most of what needs to be fixed.

in other words.... there is other things they could do with $55k.... but they're in the position to make that choice, not you.

UGGGGHHH.... I hope not. We were supposed to get these current nametags in December. They didn't arrive until May. And a lot of us still didn't get our nametags until AUGUST. 7 months late.

Amazingly, it only took them two tries to get my nametag right. I mean, really... who spells thier name "TLYER" ??

AMEN Tyler I had to order mine 4 times before I finally got it, and then that was with a managers letter attached to it.

Its The New (yes Another) Celebration that is geared towards larger groups

It's not a Celebration. It's a marketing Campaign just like "American Express, Don't leave home without it". A celebration implies a party and I don't have an invitation yet. :lol:
