Ok. Lets see the different types of name tags worn by CM's that work different locations around WDW.

Side note. Anyone know if the tags for monorail drivers are different, and what they look like if they are?

As far as I know, all WDW nametags have the same design. However, different divisions of the company have different styles. For example, here's a picture of a Disney Store nametag (mine actually, with the name blanked out).

all WDW are now the same. Some areas have had their own in the past, like Pleasure Island, Disneyquest, and Wide World of Sports. Currently though, most WDW CM's use the same one

I thought that the tags worn at like AK were different then thoes worn at MK which were different then MGM and like ToT was different and Haunted Mansion. You know, like they all kept with the theme of the location of the CM.

Here is one my father wore years ago. He was a painter at the GF (at retierment time)

Anyone rember the "dream" pins?

(As you can see, it's well worn)

nope... WDW has been using the same nametags propertywide for quite some time now. The one that you've shown has been used by all of WDW at one time or another

However, I suspect we might be seeing a re-design of the nametags in honor of the 50th celebration. Everyone will still wear identical designs, but the designs will probably reflect the 50th logo. Don't take this as confirmed info, just speculation.

Not me... it typically takes engraving 8 months to make me one. Apparently, "Tyler" is hard to put on a nametag... lol

LOL that reminds me of when I worked for Wal-Mart a few years back. it took them 3 months to get me a name tag. They are just blank "card" type tags with sticker letters. How hard is it to put JOHN on a name tag?

My Wal*Mart nametag was all bling bling... well, minus the bling. But it was on a pully string, double sided, complete with yellow job tag on both sides. On the badge itself, I had my name, a super cool smiley face with sunglasses, service length sticker, stock ownership sticker, and a few pins. (I also put packing tape on it, so that it wouldn't get dirty, or come apart in the time clock)

I still have it too... along with my red vest. :)
