The dining plans ALL include alcohol as of 2018. Including the quick service plan and regular/standard plan and you can get a drink with both your table and quick service options.
Great, I'm not much of a drinker...don't really care...I've had enough, new member...to each his (or her) own.

The thing that many people don't look at is what you would have spent WITH YOUR NORMAL HABITS, compared to what the plan cost you.

If you normally eat a TS, QS, and snack each day, with alcohol at each (not the snack) with dessert and usually one the most expensive items on the menu then you will save money on the plan.

But if your eating habits are different - sometimes you don't want a drink, sometimes you would normally order a chicken or vegetarian dish. Maybe you don't normally buy a snack every day. If you are changing your habits to fit the plan, then you are not saving money.

It's like deciding you need a TV in your garage to watch car repair videos, and you need Standard Definition, because all you are doing is watching car repair videos. You find a TV that meets you needs for $150. Then you go to the store and find a UHD, HDR, set that is normally $500 on sale for $250 and you buy it. No, you did not save $250, you spend $100 more than you normally would have.

How many people do you see buying loads of rice Krispie treats just before leaving because they had a bunch of unused snack credits. That's not a bargain. You did not save money. WDW just got you to buy a dozen snacks that you would have never bought, at a slightly reduced price.
