Club Level Worth it?

I can upgrade a garden view room at the Contemporary to club level for ~$150 additional per night or to GF main building club for ~$175 additional per night with the pass holder specials. I’m staying for 4 nights in September. Never stayed in club level before and just wondering about anyone’s thoughts.

Truth be told - AK is my least favorite park, so with a short trip I wanted to make sure I had time for as much MK as possible. lol I will totally ride it next time though!
IMO, it's the best ride in Orlando. There's a reason it's got insane lines. I prefer real motion/non-screen rides, but this really takes you to another world.

My wife and kids absolutely loved club level and if you play your cards right you'll save money on meals. We largely did not eat any breakfast thanks to the food that was put out. We also had a "dinner" or two there. Does that make up for the cost, probably not but it was such a great experience my wife is dying to do that again :)
I'll try this rationale with my wife.

@Beacon Joe is not exactly comparing apples to apples.

In the case of the Poly, a garden view club room compared with a garden view (not pool/marina) standard room would be a greater differential, making the club room “cost” more.

The GF is more tricky to compare. But for the Polynesian, I don't think it's apples and oranges at all. The Club garden view is a pool view of the quiet pool, which is why I compared it to the standard pool view rate, which as far as I know is rate level at which Disney charges for the the comparable pool views in the Tokelau and Rarotonga.

Tokelau is all DVC.
Rarotonga has standard view rooms.
Not all club garden view rooms have a pool view (we've stayed in one.)

Sorry if I am nit-picking. :angelic:

Not at all. Comparing them is tricky.

But I reckon Club Them Park View vs standard Theme Park Views is a decent comparison. For the same night I chose above, the difference between the Club Theme Park View and the Standard Theme Park View is $932.00 - $725.00, or $207.00.

Split for a family of four, that comes out to $51.75 extra per head, which I find quite reasonable. Actually a bargain, IMHO, which is why we always stayed at Club Level rooms during our pre-DVC visits.
