has anyone stayed at a club level room at royal pacific? I am told that there is snacks and drinks through out the day for people staying in those rooms, maybe even continental breakfast?

I haven't stayed in the Royal Pacific but I have stayed on many club levels and that is standard with all of them. Usually continental breakfast some times waffles or eggs, lunch time sandwiches, dinner time apps or something. I've been in a couple of Hyatt's that had night time deserts and cordials after 8. Usually there is a concierge on hand all day to take care of anything you want. The fun part is you get to use your key elevator to go to your "special" level. LOL.

I would be interested in what exactly they do at the RP but in general the club level all do about the same thing, some better some worse.

We did it here in September. No waffles and no eggs for breakfast. Just a glorified continental breakfast. Breads, cereals, fruits, juices, coffee. That's about it.

Nothing is served for lunch except snacks like chips and nuts. I think they had peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, individually factory sealed available.

For dinner, they do a very slight spread each night of a different cuisine - one night Italian, one night Mexican, one night Asian. You get the idea.

By the way, the second they put this out each night we were there, everyone swarmed on the buffet like locusts.

They do a dessert buffet later called "something sweet". But by that point, we were always at Citywalk.

As for alcoholic beverages, all they serve for free is beer and wine, and they only serve it for two short hours in the late afternoon. I can't recall if it is 4:30 - 6:30 or 5 to 7 but it is something like that.

The view from the concierge level is of a highway. I didn't really get it.

The concierge room itself is nice and the hosts are wonderful. Is it worth the up charge? I would say no.

I've stayed Club Level at the RPR several times and am a big fan. If you have kids there is a large area at one end of the room where they can hang out, play, watch TV with leather chairs built for children. There's two computers with internet access. I always found the amount of food to be huge for breakfast (tons of choices) and dinner. Lunch is sparse compared to those two offerings but the "sweets" at night is another big hit. As another poster wrote, the staff has always been exceptional.
