Is anyone on these boards a member to Club 33 in DL? I also always wondered why doesn't WDW have anything similar? Would you want something like this to ever come to WDW?

I don't think I would ever want anything like this in WDW because it is to hard and expensive to become a member and it would exclude 95% of the people that come to WDW. I never understood Walts reasoning in a place that only caters to the rich.

Well, WDW does have an equivalent to Club 33--the corporate VIP lounges scattered throughout the parks. Orlando isn't the most affluent of areas, thus the general population might have a hard time supporting a non-exclusively corporate high-end club. The VIP lounges take care of wining and dining the investors. California, on the other hand, is dripping in money and California's Club 33 has a large number of both corporate and private members. By the way, Tokyo Disneyland has its own Club 33 located in World Bazaar--their equivalent to Main Street USA.

I think if every park had one it wouldn't be as exclusive.

I was able to go on the bottom floor once and take a picture by the lift. That's probably the closet i'll ever get though.

Eh? To be honest, I don't recall all that many threads about Club 33 lately. Sure, it's been discussed in the past, but not too recently.

I am still working on an angle to get the company I work for to sponsor SOMETHING, ANYTHING just so I can have a VIP lounge.

It is just not really feasible in Florida. At Disneyland, a substantial portion of visitors to the park are locals (either from OC, LA or the surrounding areas), so they can take advantage of the club. At Walt Disney World, you might be able to fill up your membership roster, but the restaurant would not be too crowded, considering most people only visit every few years.

That being said the Corporate lounges are nice (though there are FAR fewer of them than there once was).
