Clsosed attractions

It's been a while so I wanted to say hello to everyone again. My question is what happens to all of the interiors of closed attractions. Like my personal favorite Horizons what happens to all that stuff. Although I guess 1 big part is in mission space. Thanx all.

In cases like Horizons the building might remain untouched for a long time. The inner workings like lighting, fixtures, even ride cars and tracks might be reworked and introduced into other attractions. Sometimes the buildings are left alone and simply retrofited into something else, sometimes the buildings are demolished to make way for a new ride.

In either case most things that are unusable for other attrations are scraped, sold or put in storage. Occasionally figures, ride cars or artistic things from old rides make it into private collections or end up on display on or off stage. I think that the actual Horizons sign is still around in an office somewhere and I have seen ride cars on eBay for sale.

Some of it goes over here...and some of it goes over there...

www.Horizons1.com is a real good Horizons site, and it shows a sub and hover craft on the backlot in Japan.

Also, the giant wheel is inside Mission Space is from Horizons....it even has the logo on it

Actually the props are currently located on the backlot in WDS at Disneyland Paris.

And I don't think the gravity wheel inside Mission: SPACE is from Horizons. It just has the Horizons logo on it.

Nope... the gravity wheel was never in Horizons. The logo was placed as a tribute, as is the logo on the stores pay counter facade.
