Class Action?

Has anyone else received a notice in the mail which says "The purpose of this notice is to inform you that there is now pending in this court a class action on behalf of all persons in the United States who purchased vacation protection services as part of a travel package to a Disney resort or Disney Cruise Line over a Disney website during particular periods of time." ?Apparently someone brought a suit alleging that the design of Disney's websites "resulted in people purchasing vacation protection services who did not know they were purchasing it as part of their vacation package."
Is this for real?

Some people are so stupid - because I remember that the website gives you the option of purchasing the insurance or not. You have to literally click the option if you want it. I swear people sue for everything these days just because of their own mistakes!

Geez, more lawyers getting rich. (hmmm where have I said that on these boards? Oh, I remember. It was the thread about.......ummmmm, nevermind. )

its a combination of crooked lawyers, and stupid people that don't read, then feel they have been scammed. (and of course, them being stupid and lawyers seeing a way to make money from the stupid people, maybe the stupid peopel should sue the lawyers instead, or the dr's that delivered them as babies... :zipit:

No, in previous years, they added the insurance and you had to check that you did NOT want it...

Either way it is still up to the person to read what;s on the screen carefully before they finish their reservation.

While I agree that everyone is responsible for their own actions, this was still a deceptive practice which needed to be stopped.

I second that! Sue for the littlest reasons and the stupidest reasons...like a car accident that is not your fault but your insurance company still has to pay them $1 million...sigh...sorry about that...
