So we have been going back and forth on ou dining plans for our Nov trip. My wife has Cinderella Royal Table picked out for herself, my boys have 3 character meals picked out, and now it's dad's pick! I am really intersted in Citricos. Please tell me all about this place! I guess my biggest question would be how family/kid friendly is this place? I know its "signature", but this place seems to have one of the most extensive kid menus I've seen at any Disney restaurant. Do u see a lot of families here or will I feel out of place with my kids? We aren't concerned with the dress code at all, it's fairly basic, so please, any advice would be great! We r doing the dining plan so I do know its 2 credits. For my family, it's either we go here or i have to settle for a lesser restaurant like grand fl cafe???

Also, I have never eaten at a signature restaurant in Disney, let alone with kids? What would u recommend to wear? And since it's a 2 credit meal and signature(we r doing the dining plan) do we still just get a drink, main course meal, and dessert or do we get more included? Thanks for the help!

Haven't eaten at Citricos in a long time, but we have dined at quite a few signature restaurants. Since this is Disney, you can wear almost anything. Would I recommend that? No! I'd wear nice khaki's, jeans, shorts, button down or polo shirt, and same with the kids. I'd avoid tshirts or torn or ripped jeans or shorts, and no flip flops.
As for having kids there, you'll find kids at any restaurant on Disney property, except V&As. They won't be out of place. Just dress them similarly as you, and I assume they're well behaved. If you're going to let them use some kind of electronic device (ipad, iphone, etc.) just make sure the volume isn't so loud that the whole restaurant can hear it. That's happened to us a couple of times and it drives me crazy! (Most recently at Carthay Circle in Disneyland, total let down). You don't get anything more with your credits, just what you listed. If you haven't tried California Grill and are taking the kids, you might want to check out that, especially if you can time it for the fireworks. The kids would probably love the view of the MK, and the food is great.
I'm sure you'll have a great time whatever you choose!

i LOVE citricos. highly recommend it. the menu is interesting and varied, excellent quality. tremendous service, bearing in mind you can always get a server having a bad day, but in general, always excellent service. very nice wine list
it does have an upscale atmosphere, and it is not in a park where you go in during a long day touring. most folks have gone home, showered and it is a big night out, so i agree with khakis and button down shirt, dress pants or dress for ladies
you will love this place, and i have done many signatures, this is one of my favorites

I love Citricos. I have seen children there before.

You do not get more than a entree, drink and dessert on the DP. The chef usually sends an amuse bouche to our table, but we are not on the DP, so I am not sure if that will be different.

I would recommend males to wear slacks/khakis and polos/button down shirts.

Thank U for the responses! We are planning on going here on our final nigh in Disney. We are going to AK that day so we will have time to stop back at the resort to freshen up and change before we go! Very excited!
