Unfortunately, I do not have any pictures for you but I can tell you about it. I went in April of 01 and I loved it. Tickets are a little bit expencive but it is well worth it. I want to go again and I would even pay more then what they are asking.

It is not a normal circus per say, there are no animals if that is what you are wondering. It is about 2 hours of jaw dropping gymnastics, I can honestly say that it is the coolest show that I have ever seen. I recomend it to anybody who likes theater or things like that.

Hi 'douk-

We saw it in 11/99, and we're planning on it again on 1/1/03.
It was fantastic! The show is a combination of surealistic imagery coupled with feats of physical dexterity that defy description. The music is live, and excellant!

Cirque du Soleil has several resident shows throughout the US. The one at DDWS is called 'La Nouba'.

Here is a link to 'Cirque's' home page. It will give you a better idea of what to expect than any of my words. Enjoy!

it's basically impossible to explain. We have seen it three times. The music is amazing and there are so many freaky things that happen...often times all at once. It is an extremely interesting show...keeps you mesmerized for a couple hours...one recommendation...don't get seats near the front. You can see the preshow and a lot of the aerial stunts better from the upper half of the theatre. I want one of the jackets that the Cast Members there wear!

i can honest say cique du solei, La Nouba, is probably one of the best live shows disney has, it really leads to an amazing night. The music is excellent and the visuals are excellent. It's worth whatever it costs for sure. DO NOT MISS THIS SHOW , when your thier, or you will definetly regret it when you get home.

If you intend to make a night of it, might I suggest the 6pm CdS show, followed by dinner at one of the DownTownDisney restaurants, then desert at Ghirardelli's? That's our family plan. Expensive for sure, but you'll have the memory for a lifetime.:D

As far as prices go, I've done some research. Adult tickets for La Nouba cost $67. It is the cheapest of the resident (non-touring) shows. Mystere, in Las Vegas, costs $80. O, also in Las Vegas, costs $90-110 for tickets. Tickets for quidam, a touring show, cost $65-165. As you can see, you're not paying "Disney prices" for tickets.

Also consider you would be paying the same amount of money for mediocre tickets to a Broadway musical or a big name concert.

Agree!! It's expensive but it is worth every penny... I've seen it 3 times.. and every time is a whole different experience... it's my favorite show at Orlando (the music and the characters are great)... :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy:
The official website doesn't give a lot of information of the show, but try these links...

eat at a sit-down restaurant and THEN go to Guiradelli's?! My gosh! I get full on just a sundae at Guiradelli's! And we all know disney gives you tons of food at its restaurants...I could never eat that much!

The show and the stage are AMAZING!!!! :sohappy:

DO NOT MISS IT!!! It´s very hard to describe it, but it´s extremely good. When it is done, you will run to the shop to buy the cd or the video... wanna bet?? ;)

When you go back home you will experience what we are experiencing trying to explain to you what it is! ;)

Yes Dogs, you can do it & not die in the process. We caught the early show at Cirque, walked to the Fulton, skipped the appetizer, and had coffee after our meal. Then we took a stroll thru PI and the shops, and then dessert at Ghirardelli's. Ya gotta learn to pace yourself, as my grandad used to say! But I must admit, we waddled to the bus stop.

BTW, despite the bad rap I've seen on various boards about Fultons, the meal and the service were both top notch.

Yeah!! The "flames" (by the way, they were using those costumes at the beginning and they changed them later for lycras when i saw it. Are they using that costume again? I hope! The trampoline looks better with them!), the guy in the drapes, the guys in the wheel, and the "muscle man"... lol

too bad it was soooooo short! :(
