hey, has anyone seen La Nouba at DTD? if not, i HIGHLY recommend it! not only is it my all time fave Cirque du Soleil show, but also it's HIGH in family entertainment, for ALL ages! it's like a circus, only jacked up with technical effects, a powerful musical score, and acts that are like nothing you've ever seen! the whole show will leave you in awe! for those of you who are scared of clowns, there are a few clowns in the show, but as far as i can remember, they pretty much keep their distance from the audience. they're mainly there to make you laugh, but not in a creepy kind of way that other clowns do. but, personally, i'm ok with clowns, so if you want to see the show, use your own discresion (sp?)
now i know over $70 per adult is a little expensive, but i swear to you, from experience, it's worth EVERY penny! i'd honestly be willing to put down $100 to see it...i'd think twice about it, but i'd be willing to do it! plus, it's a really great way to rest your feet and get out of the heat for an hour and a half!
anyway, just wanted to tell you all about this grand experience! i know there's probably lots of people who have no idea what it is...after all, i was one of those people when they first build the building that houses the show. i had no idea at all what it was until i started seeing other Cirque shows on Bravo. i instantly became a fan and, as they say, the rest is history.
but for those of us who have seen it....what was your fave part?
mine?...it's hard to choose just one. i loved the Xtreme bikers part, the trampoline was awesome, and i've always loved the guys in the big ring thingys! but i guess my most fave part was the little Chinese girls with the diablos! out of everything, that part left me going 'how the he....how'd they do that?!' more than anything in the whole show! totally amazing!
