DH and I have booked a trip for April, 2009. I'm going to try to get two tickets to the Cirque Du Soleil show. I was wondering 1. which day of the week would be the best. 2. Are the front and center tickets worth the money, or are the sides just as good? and 3. Is the early show just as good as the later show? Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated. We've never been to the show, and have always wanted to go. So, I'm going to get them for his birthday.

The sides are a little less money? So, you say the sides are just as good as front and center? I figure if I buy the tickets as soon as they go on sale for next April, I could get front row?

We went two years ago and we actually sat in the last row of the theater and we still had a wonderful view! It is a cozy size theater, I don't think there is a bad view. The stage is also pretty much across the theater so I wouldn't think that the sides would make any difference if you were sitting up front.

It is definately a show worth seeing, in fact we are debating seeing it again when we go back in January 09'

I personally would not recommend front row. We sat in the last row of the front section (which is like row 7 or 8)and it was great, we were just off center. the theather is small and there is so much going on on stage at one time that being right up front you may not catch everything. It took me half way through the show to notice the people higher up and on the sides of the stage. You really have to look all around for these shows.

Wherever you sit, I know you will enjoy it. I do not remember what night we went on but it was not a packed house in May when we went.

I used to work at Cirque. I would sit in the center, but it really doesnt matter i have sat on the sides and it was just as good. A lot of it is above the stage anyway

I've been in the front row before and didn't have a problem with it. The only complaint that I had was during the Trapeze portion of the show we had to slump down to look up at them. I've seen the show 3 times and once we right next to the sound booth (excellent seat), once in the side upper section and it was good and easy to see everything and the front row on the side but had no problem seeing anything.

We sat in the 2nd balcony area, about 7 or so rows up in aisle seats. It was a little bit off center. Great view though.

I think anywhere is good seats. That said, I like being in the front row of the upper level. Nothing goes on behind you, so there's not any neck strain. The parade literally passes right in front of you!

I phoner for tickets and get myself put through to Guest Services from there, the ticketing operator can't select specific seats, they just get what the computer identifies as the next available seat at the price level you request, but Guest Services can go into the system and select the exact location you want.

Computers' ideas of the best available seat and mine are quite different!

I have seen Cirque de Soleil on 3 of my trips to the wonderful world that is Disney and personally found that sitting quite centrally is a better view as you get a full front on view of the show.
I also found that on the occassion i booked my tickets through my disney hotel i had much better seats.
In respect of shows being less busy than others, i do think that Friday and Saturday evening performances are slightly more in demand.
The show is the same no matter what time of the day you see the show, and it is a fantastic show to see. I would recommend it to anyone.
Enjoy:wave:

When I went, I sat behind the middle walkway (front row but not the REAL front row... does that make sense?) and off to the side.
Loved sitting on that walkway because the performers were very close at times. I did think a more centered seat would've added to the beauty of certain acts... just because the symmetry would be more apparent, but all the same it was beautiful. Decide if it's worth it to you, I guess.

I used to work at Cirque for Disney and I can tell you that there are NO bad seats in the theatre. The 9pm show tends to have fewer kids in attendance. A lot of the show is aerial so I prefer to sit in the 200's - section 203, 204, & 205 are my favorites. Feel free to PM me any questions you have and ENJOY THE SHOW!!

I was in Section 104, last row in the end seat. It was a great seat and when the BMX rider came out in the audience with his bike he slammed on his front brakes & did a nose stand right by my left shoulder.

I think almost every seat in the place is great but if you get a front row center there is a chance you might get picked for part of the show. Also beware if you get there too far into the seating period. :) The Clowns are great. I do suggest getting the dvd for the show afterward. You'll love to watch it over and over,

Also you can make reservation at the same time you do your ADR 180 days out.

I love La Nouba! My DD and I had front and center seats two years ago. I think we were in the last row, two end seats and they were perfect. I wouldn't want to be in the first few rows because you would have to look up alot during the show. I am thinking about purchasing tickets for this year's trip, but we are a family of five and it is going to cost alot of $$$. Like others have said, I really don't think there is a "bad" seat in the theater. Have fun
