Cirque du Soleil Question

Does the show ever change? We've already seen La Nouba and we'd love to see something else! We're thinking about making a trip to Vegas just to see something different! So has the show under the big top at DTD always been La Nouba, or do they change it?

It has always been La Nouba. If you go out to Vegas, I'd recommend that you see Ka (my favorite) or O.

Well that's crappy. There's one in NC a few hours away, but it'll only be here the week after my birthday and I'm not sure we can swing that so close to a trip to WDW. We might be hitting Vegas in the summer.

Side note: we just finished watching Cirque du Soleil Worlds Away in 3D and it was amazing!

I've seen three different travelling Cirque shows. The static ones tend to be done in purpose-built buildings, difficult to re-purpose without a long, expensive downtime.

It's always been La Nouba, but they made some minor changes to the show over the years...changes for the better.

Blue Man Group is a fantastic show. It's at Uni, though, so I don't know if your able to go there or what. Just tossing it out because IMO it is the best show in Orlando.

Show is pretty much unchanged. One of the original acts is different. If you remember the guy who balances on the chairs he has been replaced. Only change in ten years i have seen. Here are the acts

I would definitely head to Vegas for some Cirque! We've been to Ka, Mystere, and Zumanity. We loved them all, but Zumanity is definitely not for the faint of heart! If you embarrass easily, maybe skip that one. The last time we hit Vegas we also did the Buffet of Buffets. You basically get as many buffets from certain resorts as you can fit in 24 hours. Even If you only do breakfast and 2 dinners like we did you get your moneys worth.

It will always be La Nouba, but some of the "smaller" acts are on rotation. Every couple of years they change things up and they replace the cast fairly frequently so there are always slight changes to the acts. As for the "major" acts they will most likely stay the same every night, the same goes for the characters.
