Hi !

We're taking my sisters to WDW in 2 weeks and they want to go eat at the Planet Hollywood. We are going to the 9pm CdS show and we were wondering how late they take people in at Planet Hollywood ?

Better to be safe - I suggest arriving about 7 and take a leisurely meal rather than a later arrival, rushing your food and then rushing to find your seats

Planet Hollywood

In my opinion planet hollywood is overrated...and certainly not wirth the wait. I have passed by there and the waits were SO long....do not go there if you have plans after the meal (like a performance).

If someone disagrees, please let me know.

i agree. i mean go there once so you can say you have been, but it isnt a repeat place for me everytime we go. it is kind of like chain food if i remember correctly (hard rock cafeish) but i could be mistaken and confusing with another place, but i wouldnt combine those two on the same night. id feel rushed.

plus, you will really stink for the poor souls sitting next to you at the show if anybody gets fried food at PH. i hate when I or anyone else stinks real bad from a resturant. that is the worst

If you have your heart set on PH then do try to go early and leave yourself extra time to make the show. Have you gone to PH before or will this be your first time?

I've been there before. Overpriced, but good enough. My two younger sisters have never been there, that's why they want to go !

i would recommand that house of blues instead. it is right next to the cirque. that is where we eat when we go there. it is nice and you can sit there until it is time to go in. we go there about 7 15 to eat. the planet hollywood is overrated.

Thank you for your replies and suggestion. They really want to go eat at Planet Hollywood though, so I guess we'll eat there and then head to CdS. (I'd rather eat at HoB but meh...)

I really dislike Planet Hollywood. Overpriced, waaay too long to get your food and the food was really subpar when it came. Not to mention, it's so crowded (and densly packed) in there that we kept getting literally hit by the servers as they tried to pass our table. Love even got hit in the head - several times! No thanks. $45 for two badly cooked burgers? I'll pass.

Though HOB has super yummy chicken strips. :)

Understand your need to meet the needs of your sisters. There are a lot of impressive things there, and I'm sure they will enjoy it. I would suggest you eat early, say around 5, then stroll around DTD for a bit before the show. That way you don't have to feel rushed before the show, your stomach isn't rumbling at the show, and your sisters are happy.

It's been a long time since I've eaten at PH, but one thing I remember being excellent was the chicken strips encrusted with Captain Crunch cereal appetizer.
