Cindy's Royal Table Breakfast seating question

After multiple tries (waking up at 4:50am each time), I finally got through and secured a PS for CRT in early November.

Since we have 7 in our party (3 girls 5-and-under, parents, and grandparents), the Disney rep gave us two four-person tables. She mentioned that there was a special area that tables could be pushed together for larger parties, although this could not be guaranteed.

Does anyone have any experience or suggestions on how we can increase the probability of our party sitting together? Also, does anyone know what the biggest table size that a party could be put at without having to push tables together? Thanks for your help!

The only suggestion I can offer about getting the tables next to each other is to get there early. That seems to be the answer to most everything. The earlier you get there, the more likely you are to get your request. Hope this helps.

Jsut ask the person who check you in and if they say ask the seating arranger then go ahead they will make the best of your time there, believe me.

At CRT they seat an entire section of the restaurant at the same time. We have in the past, checked in and was the only family in the lobby. While we waited for about 20 minutes, the entire lobby fillled... THEN they began calling names. When our name was called were were seated in an empty section of the restaurant and within 10 minutes the entire section was filled and then about 10 minutes later ALL of the princesses came one after another through our section. I noticed the same routine though the rest of the restaurant. It is very well organized (maybe a little too much). After the princesses come through your section, you never see them again in that area. Anyhow, you should have no problem getting 2 tables together. When you check in, be nice, but express to the CM how wonderful it would be if the grandparents could sit with their grandchildren. And, of course, getting there a little early always helps. First off Congrats on catching that beloved reservation! We were there in June and had a party of 12, grandma, 3 adult sibs, 2 spouses and 6 children. We were seated in one large area all together we had a L shaped seating area (reversed L)but anyhow, we didn't request anything but were all seated together, Mary Poppins stopped by and helped the 3 yr old cut up his breakfast before signing autographs and posing for photos. If you don 't have dresses for the girls, you might grab them at the Disney Store or catalog. Our girls love their photos from the breakfast in their princess outfit with their favorite princesses. Very easy to bring along regular clothes in a bag, then after the meal, autographs and photos, you stop off to the restroom in the top of the castle, change clothes and store the gowns in a locker. makes for excellent photo ops! Enjoy your trip and enjoy this meal!

Great job on the PS. When we went last march we had a party of 8 and got the same type of PS, two tables of 4. When we got there we asked a very nice Cast Member if there was any possible way to seat us all in one table and her answer was . . .

"Of course, just give us a few minutes to get the table ready." And she did it and we had a fantastic time.

So, it doesn't hurt to ask. The worst that can happen is that you have a great time at two seperate table.

Congrats on securing a reservation

Adamb: congrats on the reservation. I, too, tried to get a reservation at Cinderella's royal table for breakfast but was turned away each time. I finally got so frustrated, I stopped calling. Especially after hearing that people are making the reservations knowing that they can sell them to eager guests. That should not be allowed. Profiting off a character breakfast.. Geez. :brick:

I am sure that you will be able to sit together at the breakfast. I would get there a little early to put in the request though. Have a good time.

We did find other character meals that will be just fine for our children. We are looking forward to all of them.

I am surprised at the selling of PS's. When I made ours a month ago I was told I had to be there and no one else could take my place nor could it be transferred. I am also supposed to show ID and I had to put down a deposit for it. I called three days before I got mine and I was up a 5:00 to get ready before calling at 6:00. They tried to sell me on the Norway Storybook breakfast each time though. Our PS is for 8:30 but we will be there when the gates open to make sure we get in.

I don't think the gates open until 9:00. I've never had PS for a time before the park opened, but from what I understand, you will want to be there by 8:15 and find a CM to let you in the park. I believe they have a list of names for PS, so don't try to fool them if you don't have a PS. Have a Great Trip!

P.S. It is a very wise idea to have you conformation number with you. I was at Cindy's not long ago and a family did not have their conformation number and the CM could not find the PS. I don't know what finally happened, but I did not see them inside.

Congrats on your Cindy Priority seating!

I was a little sad because I screwed up and miscalculated my days. When I realized the error I had one day left to try. I got up at 6:45 and began dialing and hitting redial every 15 seconds until 7:00. Somehow I ended up really far back in line and sat on hold for like 30 minutes. Needless to say, I didn't get my Cindy breakfast. I did get the Norway princess breakfast and a lunch at Cindys so we could still see the princesses and eat in the castle. I'm just kicking myself for screwing it up. We don't have any small children but we do all still love seeing the characters. We will have a 16 y/o, a 17 y/o, a 20 y/o, a 21 y/o, and 4 more adults up to the age of 50.

For those that missed getting Cindy's at the 90 day mark, don't give up yet.

Call again (in the afternoon, no point waking up early anymore.). I would try about once a week up until the time of your trip.
A lot of time people make the reservation and then cancel because their plans changed. You may not get the exact time you wanted but you have a shot of getting a reservation.

Also don't be afraid to try walk up, if you aren't in a hurry. I had that work for me already, we had to wait an hour to get a table, but they did squeeze us in.
