I have a quick question about CRT. Is the price the same for breakfast and dinner? I couldn't find anything to confirm that. From what I am seeing - breakfast is like 50-60 dollars. But on another site they said breakfast was closer to 40 dollars for adults. Which is correct?

Thank you. That's what I was looking for. Pricey for breakfast. But the experience of dining in the castle is what you pay for. My family did it years ago when I was a kid. We thought it was just okay. But my DW hasn't had the experience yet and she's mentioned it casually. I think it's something she wants to try....

I went as a kid with my parents, back when it was King Steffan's Banquet Hall. I don't remember the food, but I certainly remember dining in the castle. I mean, I was actually eating in the castle! This summer I'm "splurging" and taking DW and DD to eat there and meet the princesses. I hope it's as memorable for them as it was for me many year ago.

We've done all 3 meals there and so far breakfast has been our fave. It's not cheap, but at least that price includes gratuity, photo with Cindy, wand, and wishing star. I really like the 8:05am slot :)

We've got the 8:05am slot for our first morning next month!! We ate here back when it was King Stefan's Banquet Hall and it was for dinner and no characters were there. My youngest cousin wasn't born yet, my other cousin doesn't remember it and my aunt had to leave about 10 minutes after we got there. So they are really looking forward to it!! :)

We were there in Febuary of this yr, my DD was so excited to see all of the princesses, she did not eat much of her breakfast, I think the price is a bit much, but it made her happy, so it was worth it for that alone. Would we do it again? If she wanted to, but I think I would see if she would like to eat at AP at Epcot, she wants to go back & see the big golf ball, LOL!!!!!!!

I'm sure it's going to be a great time :) They let us all inside in the order that we arrived...we were the last group to get a window seat, but I also think we were the last of the 8:05s. I'd love to go back and try the French toast...anything with ganache has to be good ;)

It looks like they changed the french toast! The most recent menu now has it listed as Caramel Apple Stuffed French Toast. I liked the sound of the previous french toast better but this still sounds ooey gooey and delicious!! Hopefully we will get there as soon as we can. We have stressed to my family already several times that we HAVE to be to the bus stop no later than 7am. They're slow pokes sometime.

Interesting. I was just going off of the Allears menu which still lists the ganache. Well darn, that makes me kind of sad. :( I mean, caramel apple is nice and all, but chocolate and cognac just sounded divine. Oh well. Yeah- those early morning slots can be tiring- well, at least the process getting up and getting there. We were dragging the day we did it last trip and I think we got out to the bus at 7:30a and made it...but barely. Of course, the woman seated next to me on the bus couldn't grasp why we'd want to get out any earlier. I still prefer to not take any chances.

The first bus at AOA in the morning leaves at 6:45 am, I got this tip from a Female CM,(I had asked a Male CM first & he told me if we caught the bus at 8am, it would get us there in time & if we were late, they would take us anyway-I did not like that answer, so I found a female CM,LOL!) because we had a reservation at 8:35 am & I wanted to make sure we were not late. We had just made it to the bus stops when the first bus arrived, the was another family getting on but not all of them was there yet, a husband & 1 child still had not made it, the bus driver told her he could not wait any longer, so she started to get off & here they came running, just made it.
We got there early,we took pictures & looked around some, DD was getting tired of waiting, she was so excited, so we went to the castle 15 minutes early but they went ahead & took us in.

The early buses do not have as many people on them either, which is nice.

I may be in the minority, but I prefer Akershus breakfast to CRT. Last year, our breakfast was lukewarm and the scrambles eggs were too runny for my taste. The atmosphere rocks, but you can't beat the Viking portions in Norway. Yummm....
