Hi everyone I'm wondering if you could help me?

My sister and I are off to WDW from the 26th Nov - Dec 10th and I'm having a bit of a dilemma! For my sisters birthday present i want to get her tickets for a nice dinner with characters or maybe even a dinner show and after much debating I've narrowed it down to the two in the title of the thread but  which one to go with especially as in a couple of weeks I reach my 90 days to start making my ADR's

So I thought I know let's ask you guys who I know will help me decide or may even give me some more ideas which I might not have thought of.

So please guys give me your honest opinons and help me decide.

Thanks:wave:

Cinderella's Royal Table was the worst dinner I've ever had at Disney. It was like sitting in the middle of a daycare center and eating a cheap bag lunch. The food was bland and cold, service was next to nothing and the atmosphere was ruined by loud bratty kids running wild.

I was at the Spirit of Aloha last year in January 2008. Here's my "review":

Not knowing were to walk (the trails and pathways at Polynesian are extremely dark), we got a bit lost and ended up at the front desk bypassing the photographer. So we checked in and got confirmation on our table. besides, we didn't want a photo anyways.

What I didn't like was that the dinner starts around 8 PM....which coincided with the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom. I wanted to catch some fireworks before dinner. :(
Food came out pretty quick. First was the salads, coconut pineapple bread and a pineapple. Yummmm!
Next was the main courses: 4 roasted chicken halves, about 10 ribs, huge heaping of rice and steamed veggies! And there were just the 2 of us. I felt bad since we didn't finish all that food. I wanted to ask the next table if they wanted some since they did get a second round of food! The chicken was extremely dry. It was tasty but too dry for us. The ribs were great though. Rice and veggies were so-so.

Dessert was some raspberry volcano thingie. I forgot the name. i think I was too stuffed to hear the name.

While all this eating was going on, there was also a show happening on stage. You have your dancers doing their thing. The show overall was okay. It wasn't all that. I would suggest people to watch it at least once if you've never watched it before. I don't think I'll do a return trip to this show.

Cinderella's Royal Table food is bland and it is mostly screaming kids there and most of the time bad service.

Spirit of Aloha food is AMAZING and awesome service but the show is kind of boring after a while.

I believe Hoop-De-Doo Review is better than these two :king:

Hoop-De-Doo Review is also one that I thought of doing so I might look more into that.

Thanks all for your help so far I just wish I was able to make a decision but knowing me it will probably come to the morning to start making my ADR's and I'll decide there and then :brick:but keep those opinions coming guys as they are helping

I too would suggest the Hoop-Dee-Doo. The food is pretty good and the show is entertaining. I try to see it every time I am in WDW.
