Cinderella's Castle Breakfast

Yeah, I know I'm blowing a thread, but what the heck ... today was my fourth day of trying and I finally got the coveted reservations for Cindy's Breakfast!

I'm so completely sick of getting up at 5:45am and now that I've got 'em, I'm so excited and I can't go back to bed!

I thought I'd never get them - I got through yesterday at 6:59am (worldtimeserver.com) and they were sold out. Reservations was even floored by that one - all she kept saying was "Oh my God, oh my God - they're gone!"

So this thread isn't a complete waste I thought I'd offer a smidge of advice (that I'm sure every seasoned Disneyholic knows but some that I figured out by myself and some culled from various websites) ....

1. Reservations opens at pretty much exactly 6:58 ET time - according to www.worldtimeserver.com - so call then.
2. Have your phone already set to redial - misdialing in your excitement can cost you seating.
3. As soon as someone answered, yell excitedly into the phone: "Cinderellas 5!" Or 3, or 6 - or however many people are in your party.
4. This is the one that I think got me through a bit quicker the last 2 days, and I haven't seen this piece of advice anywhere: As soon as the recording on the 407.WDW.DINE line comes on, press "0". Their recorded message says to wait for a rep, but you're wasting precious seconds for the recording to play in it's entirety. Pressing "0" immediately got me right into the que - and got me ressies for 5!

No more waking up at 5:45am for me!!! Yeah!!!!!
:sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy:

You have no idea how thrilled I am!

My girls knew I was trying to get ressies, but since I only mentioned it casually, they didn't really have their hearts set on.

When they came downstairs this morning I told them of our good fortune - my 7 year old said: "Let me get this straight, you mean to tell me we're having dinner with Mickey and breakfast with Cinderella? Holy cow!"

Both my girls are jumping are totally thrilled.

Good luck on getting your ressies too!:D

Congratulations Holly!:sohappy: We just had breakfast there in September. It was wonderful and the food was very good too. My son had lipstick kisses all over his face from the princess' kissing him. The fairy godmother also gave him "Mickey Magic" (mickey shaped confetti) which made him grin from ear to ear. The face characters are great with the kids-you will have such a good time. It is definitly worth getting up and trying to get a reservation. The 5:45am wake up will pay off for you when your day finally arrives. Glad you were lucky to get in and have a magical time.

We did it once about 6 years ago when my daughter was 7 and my son was 3. My sons favorite was Peter Pan. You will have a great time! My two still talk about it so I hope we can recreate the magic in January. If I do get ressies I'm going to suprise them this time. Have a great trip!

Princess Breakfast in Norway

We tried the new Storybook Princess breakfast in Epcot's Norway. It was very nice. The Akershus castle was beautiful even though it wasn't Cindy's castle. We were visited by Snow White, Belle, Mary Poppins, Jasmine and Sleeping Beauty. That varies, I am told. Reservations were easy to get. It's a nice second choice if you can't get Cindy's.

Congrats Holly

Congratulations on getting a ressie at Cindy's table. That is so hard. I know, I have tried many times in the past and had the same result. ALL GONE! Glad to hear someone actually got through and you will love it. We did it ONCE and haven't been able to get in again. Have a great time and eat a piece of their wonderful stuffed french toast for me :slurp: .

Congrats. I know the agony of daily calls w/no results..BUT its totally worth it. My two daughters & my niece dressed in their princess costumes!...talk about photo ops! Have a great time...we still have some of the mickey confetti that we "had" to store in a film canister! Enjoy every minute of it...take plenty of film and don't forget the autograph books!

I also got up at the crack of dawn this morning to try for reservations... AND WE GOT THE LAST ONE!!! :sohappy:

I had tried yesterday, but they were gone.

I had hoped to get a really late PS time (we got 9:35), but, hey... from what you all say, I'm lucky to have them at all!

My son is soooo excited (I didn't even mention it until I got them -- I've learned NOT to do that! LOL!).

Congrats Holly!

My wife and I also got up at 5:45am armed with two phones and started calling at 5:55am (central standard time). We got into WDW-Dine at 5:58 and all the reservations were gone. After waiting for the possibility of a cancalation we hung up very disappointed. After hanging up we discussed having breakfast elsewhere so my wife called back about 15 min later to make another PS reservation. Before making the resevation at the alternate resteraunt she told the CM that we tried to get PS at Cindy's and couldn't get in. So the CM checked Cindy's and at that moment said to my wife that there was a cancalation. We are so lucky! The CM got us our PS at Cindy's.
Good show Disney!:sohappy:

Well, I can't speak for anyone but my own family but here is my .02 on why Cindys is so special.
For us its seeing the smiles on the girls faces (our girls are little..2, 6 & my 8yr old niece) eatting in a real Princess' Castle. Also our girls wore their Princess dresses and received some special attention before the park opened by different CM's. Not to mention the added attention at the breakfast.
If we were going without children I wouldnt even try to get the reservations (so much work w/little chance of getting what you want). But I am a mom that is willing to go the extra mile esp. for adding extra magic to our WDW vacation.
We still have some of the Mickey confetti that the girls got at the breakfast..they brought it home in a film canister~
We cant wait to try the breakfast with the Princesses in Epcot. Thats another part of it, before Epcot added a P/B this was the only place to get a Character meal with the Princesses and they were not easily available...you know many of the other Characters have stations in Toon Town.
Maybe others can explain it better ...or we are all just insane.

Since I've never been and I booked the ressies only off of what I heard let me give ya a little insight on the conversation at our house the day I made the reservations (I have 2 girls - 5 & 7):

ME: Well, girls, I made reservations for breakfast and dinner one day at Disney World.

5 year old: Where are we going?

ME: For Thanksgiving dinner we're eating with Mickey Mouse and 2 eays later we're having breakfast in the castle with Cinderella.

7 year old: HOLY COW! Let me get this straight - we're eating dinner with Mickey Mouse AND having breakfast with Cinderalla??!!!

Sure, they would've been just as thrilled with the whole WDW experience WITHOUT Chef Mickey & Cindy's Breakfast - but the look on their faces when I told them what we were doing was priceless. I just can't wait to see them when we're actually there!

I guess I can see ya'lls point -

It just sounds so terribly difficult to even get ressies there - never mind the fact that I'm not a morning person anyway!

I wonder if the powers that be would consider a Princess dinner? I would definately be up for that! :D

It was a big pain in the butt! But hopefully, it'll be worth it!

My girls are at the age (5 & 7) where they still believe in magic AND will hopefully remember it all. I remember seeing the castle for the first time when I was 6 - it was a completely awesome feeling!
