But I thought even right now Spectro and Wishes are not shown everynight???

Not currently, but during the holidays and summer.......when you may have 2 Spectromagics and a Wishes......

I'm kinda glad that there will be a new show on the stage. It's kinda nice to have some variety. CSC is a good show, but I guess I may be ready to see something different because I see CSC all the time. Plus, 18 months is not too horribly long when you think about it. At least they are saying it won't be gone forever. :D

Right, during the summer and other peak times, Spectro and Wishes happen every night. During non-peak times, Wishes still happens every night. Depending on whether there is a special event going on or not, Spectro is still run once or twice a week, even during the slow seasons.

Spectro is only done twice in one night when park hours are till 11 PM or later.

And seeing Wishes from my balcony almost every night, many times it is run at 7 or 8pm (depending on the season) which seems to be seconds after it is really dark.....if Cinderellabration is to also be shown after dark, the park would have to extend the hours, or not show both.

Cinderellabration is an amazing night show I'm seriously hoping that they get the Lights of Romance Arches shipped in though. It would have a much better feeling when the show is done at night with all the light effects on the castle.

Cinderellabration is supposed to have a character meet and greet after the show.

Ironically though, Tokyo got the name "Cinderellabration" from an old MK new year's event

The issue about Wishes and Cinderellabration running on the same night - this summer in MK Entertainment the word was that they were going to trial each one to see which one was more popular with the guests, once that was determined...the less popular would have performances cut down and the other would be every night...so most likely Wishes will be a late night or weekend thing for about 18 months

OR - after looking at some pictures from the show at TDL - rework some wishes music and voice overs and use the same show once the stage part is over

Actually I think both shows could be done on the same night, That's what they did in Tokyo at the time of Cinderellabrations they did Cinderellabrations first then later, They do their Fireworks show.

I found this from another message board from a poster named TDLFan

http://albums.photo.epson.com/j/AlbumIndex?u=4079221&a=31100582&f=0&vt=vp&pw=

It has pictures of the Lights of Romance decorations, it's jsut jaw-dropping

here's another site dedicated to Tokyo Disneyland's 20th anniversary festivities (including Lights of Romance) it has great pictures of both the show itself and the decorations.

I can't help but think that this is the best castle stage show of all time

I took the BackStage Magic Tour today and one of the things the guide told us about was some plans surrounding Cinderellabration. She noted that they anticipate this show will be extremely popular and are planning a significant redesign of the whole hub area to support the anticipated crowds.

What she described was removal of all of the raised planter structures that are there and making that area similar to Town Square with low level planting beds only and removing the rest of the trees. This way the stage would be visible from all of the hub, increasing the number of people who could watch the show when it's performed.

There was no discussion about any sort of arches. I'm assuming this is something that surrounds the stage @ TDL?

Everything she talked about focused on opening up the view of the castle stage from all areas of the hub.

Will there be seating available for the show like they did in Tokyo?

Oh and the arches don't surround the stage but the entire hub

Not having been to TDL The arch thing had me a little stumped.

As for seating it didn't sound like anything like that was planned. The goal, as described is simply to expand the area of the hub that has a clear view of the castle stage.

I remember the seating they have in Paris and it is a nice break for such a show but there isn't anywhere that they could put it in MK without turning the area in front of the castle into an amphitheater which I sure hope never happens.

The seating in TDL was merely a group of plastic benches that they'd set up before the show anyway if you wanna see the arches, there are pictures in the links that I posted earlier, they are all quite magnificent and truly magical.
