Cinderella Surprise Celelebration Question, fingers crossed

I just posted something on the WDW discussion forum and thought this might be a better place to ask. I had inquired about something I read on mouseplanet.com. It said the hub and stage in front of the castle were getting some work done starting end of Dec, early Jan to make way for a new Cinderella show. That part I can deal with.

The part I can't is that someone responded saying they think the current show will not be running when we go the end of Jan begining of Feb. Does anyone know if that is true or not, the other person was not sure.

The reason I am worried is it was my daughter's favorite thing in all of WDW when we went this past Jan. She has been listening to the music and acting out the show for the past 6 months. She is 3 1/2 and might not understand.

Do I have any hope?

If it is a big deal for your child that Cindy's Surprise might not be there, I would try something as though it were personal *for her*

Something like "Oh sweetie, Cinderella can't do this show right now because she's working on a brand new one just for you. She's making sure the stage is absolutely perfect so that when you see it, it will be even better than her other show. Here's some ice cream...." And if you run into Cinderella, sort of do a little "Oh Cinderella, I was just telling my daughter how you're making a brand new show just for her *wink wink*" Hopefully Cinderella will be able to play off of that and help out a little bit...
