Someone on another board posted that when their copy of Aladdin came in, there was a paper saying something about Cinderella being released Nov 04!! Has anyone heard anything about this?

On the back of the insert which tells about the special features in the Aladdin DVD, it does infact say that Cinderella will be released on DVD in October 2005.

According to the inserts and trailers on the Aladdin DVD, these are the movies we can look forward to coming to DVD:

Mulan - October 26, 2004 (in only a few weeks! Yeah! :sohappy: )
Mary Poppins - December 14, 2004
The Return of Jafar - January 2005
Aladdin and the King of Thieves - January 2005
Bambi - March 2005
Cinderella - October 2005

All of these are to be 2-Disc Special Editions except for The Return of Jafar & Aladdin and the King of Thieves.

Hope this clears things up!

Can't wait for some of these to come out!

I heard Mulan has actually been pushed back to next year.

From what I understand, every October Disney will release a "Platinum Edition" of one of their feature animated films... it started with Snow White, and so far they've released Beauty and the Beast, Lion King, and now Aladdin... and I'm pretty sure next year is to be Cinderella (yay!)

i noticed on that site that you can have a princess call your house, do that they the same for mickey or any of the fab 5??other than waiting till doing it in disney? i'd love to do that for my daughter for our upcoming disney trip .

According to a recent business interview with Eisner, two animated (classic) films will be released on DVD each year, along with the sequel films and the current films.

As someone else already posted, Mary Poppins comes out December 14th of this year. This year is the 40th anniversary of the film. YAY! Amazingly I have never owned this on video so I'm definitely buying it.
