Cinderella Castle

Does anyone know what Cinderella Castle is based off of? I've always read that it is NOT the Mad Ludwig castle in Germany. I've also read that most people are not sure what castle it really is based off of. Well, I came across a picture of a castle in a park in Indonesia that looks almost identical to Cinderella Castle. I'm not sure when it was built, but if it was before Cinderella Castle was designed, I would bet money that the Imagineers designed it based off of this castle. Here is a link to the image:

That picture seems to show a cheap, much-newer knock-off of Cindy's place. I've never been able to find a photo of a castle that resembles WDW's Castle the way that Neuschwanstein resembles Disneyland's Sleeping Beauty Castle.

Disney press releases claim that "Cinderella Castle was designed as a fanciful composite of French courts such as Fontainebleau, Versailles, and several chateaux of the Loire Valley. Its base evokes the Romanesque architecture of medieval fortresses from the 11th through 13th centuries, while its upper portion is reminiscent of the Gothic styles of Renaissance-era castles."

There is no one castle/chateau that inspired it.

Yeah, I've only seen that "tagline" (?) recently in regards to the redecoration of the Castle.

That castle looks like it should belong in Dream World.

Neuschwanstein Castle in Bavaria, Germany was a big inspiration in building it.
Learned that from my Walt Disney World Trivia Book!

Am I the only one that thinks the castle shown in the first post looks kind of nice? I wouldn't want to replace the real one, but the red-brick one is actually kind of neat.
