Intersting that they will include images of all five castles from around the world since there are only three castle designs. I'm excited to see it finished.

I thought of that too. I think it's just advertising the other parks. I presume that that's what the "worldwide" celebration is for, besides obviously boosting individual park attendance as any other celebration would. Anyway, the design looks very impressive, and I hope to see it when I visit in a few months. Thanks for the picture, Speck!

I'm guessing that the scan above is indicating that the "transformation" will start this Tuesday and then be finished by April 1st. Is that correct?

^^Thanks for the confirmation. I'm heading to the parks this weekend so I'll try and grab a few pics if there is anything worthwhile taking a picture of at that point.

Thanks. Kind of bummed it is starting now as we are leaving on Thursday. I feel like everything in the MK is under construction right now.

I hear ya. I'm also kinda bummed because this will be my 7-year-old niece's first experience with WDW. I just gotta be creative and say things like "Oooh! Look at Cinderella's Magical Construction Wall! Isn't it just enchanting!!" :lookaroun

Yeah, there are walls everywhere it seems. I can actually deal with a few attractions being closed, but the fact that you are going to look up Main Street and see the walls really, really stinks. I know that construction does need to be done, I just wish I had planned my trip at a different time. I still way excited to go, I just wish the walls were not up at this time.

A lady at my job is going to WDW in about 6 weeks and I told her she'd be better off waiting too, since there seems to be so much construction going on. I thought there was a lot of walls last May when I went but there seems to be so many things getting built/rehabbed right now that I don't think this would be a good time to go there at all. Has there ever been any other time when there's been so much construction going on there?

I love just the idea of how the castle is going to look! Hopefully, I'll be going the last week of May, cause I'd LOVE to see this in person! It's going to be prettier than ever! :sohappy:

I do have one question, though. What is this Cinderellabration thingy? Is it the same show they've had in front of the castle for a while, or is it something totally new?

I think it has potential.

Is that an official piece of marketing? Just noticed the "on on" typo. I guess law school has made me look to closely at things! Hopefully I will get to see it in person.

Cinderellabration is an brand new show that will be performing on the castle stage for the 50 anniversary of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. The current show, Cinderella's Surprise Cellabration, will be closing toward the end of Feb to make way for the new show. Cinderallabration is going to be "inspired" by the show of the same name from Tokyo Disneyland. The show starts off where the original animated movie ended, with Cinderella arriving at the castle for her coronation. Many other popular princesses will be arriving as well to help Cinderella celebrate. Among them will be Belle, Jasmine, Snow White, and Aurora along with each of their princes too. I hope that helps.

That helps very much, wbboy! Thank you! Yes, the Surprise Celebration was what I was thinking of...I'm rather glad it's leaving. The Cinderellabration actually sounds kind of good, though! Thanks for the info!
