Cinderella Castle lower section under refubishment

WOW, that is one cool wall! :lol:

Kinda odd, I thought the castle looked fine, last time. No complaints, I'm glad it's getting TLC.




WOW. That's just horrible that they had to do that, for both current show, and the fact that they let it get that bad!


How long was it like that for?

It started in Summer of 04, and completed just prior to the holidays. It needed the refurbishment badly, yea DLR ruins vacations with refurbs:lol::ROFLOL:

As bad as it is... you can at least give DL credit for making the cards look like they are doing something.:lol:

Our construction scrims have been greatly themed lately!

I guess. BUT STILL.:lol: Was the castle really that bad?!

I think it was like that for about 3 months... It maybe why they eventually started getting the custom scrim for the scaffolding, since many people complained about that look when it was going on.

Well, you go on vacation, and see boxes instead of a Castle.:lol:

Goodness, yes. Just saw the first pic you posted, and the Castle is almost faded to being WHITE. Now that's sad.

Agree with EE, as much as I hated that pink monstrocity, that is much, much worse.

You know, when I saw that first picture, that was exactly what I was thinking!

I went to Disneyland JUST to see the castle (big Sleeping Beauty fan), I think I would have died right there on the spot if the castle would have been like that.
