Oh my gosh!! That is awesome. You should be very proud of yourself-I know I coudn't make something like that! I bet your parents just loved it. I don't think I could eat it, though!

That is absolutely gorgeous! You've got talent (I'm jealous, I can't even ice a layer cake flat :p ) Great job, and I hope it tasted as good as it looks!

I thought this thread was going to be about THE castle being turned into a cake again. :hammer:

Great job, I can't even make regular cakes properly. I agree with everyone else though, I don't think I could eat that cake. It's too pretty!

HOLY CRAP! That's better than the ones on the Disney Wedding show on Food network or whatever. AWESOME. I myself carved out a DORY cake for my daughters B-DAY, It was so much fun. You just challenged me for next year. If you have pix of more, please post.

Absolutely beautiful cake!

A few years ago, my sister and I tried to make an Aladdin castle cake. We had so much icing on it the the turrets kept sliding off! :p Oh well, it tasted good even if it didn't look so nice.

I'm completely impressed with your effort. Great job.

your cake is BEAUTIFUL.. You have more talent that some of the cake people in my town. I had a castle cake made for my daughter and it looked more like the leaning tower of Piza (sp?) Plus the "professional" cake looked more like a bare cake with a puddle of icing at the bottom because all of the icing slid off...

:slurp: Your cake looks yummy too. GREAT GREAT GREAT GREAT JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!:sohappy:

That is incredible!!! I can't believe you think it isn't that great - I think it's amazing.

You'd better start looking into Culinary Arts Schools, because you have an amazing talent.

Maybe one day you'll be a head pastry chef at a Disney Resort making all of us beautiful deserts!!!!

You should be proud of yourself - not just anyone could make a cake like that! :slurp:
