What do you think about the overlay planned for Cinderlla Castle for the 50th. I personally really like the stained glass above the entry, (it would be nice if the mirror would be LED, they could incorportate images during Wishes and Sprectromagic and the coming Cinderellabration. A nice visual aid for these shows/parades.) The sprials above the spirals look like they will be nice, lookin for the prototype. The tinsel looks kinda stupid n tacky tho, wat are your opinoins. Does any other info one on the overlay.

Hi and welcome to the boards. I really like the way the castle overlay looks and wish they would start now!!! I also like your idea of changing the image on the window during whishes!

IM not sure if anybody remebers, but a few years ago the starting of the Wonderful World of Disney showed Cinderella Castle with famous disney characters on it, its hard to explain, but the camera sort of went slowly around the entire castle while the characters would be looking out the windows, standing on the balcony, and i remember the hunch back of notre dame sliding down one of the eves-troughs. Anyone else remeber this? Anyways I wonder if that starting was the inspiration for what they plan to do because it looks very similar.

Actually, DL has its own concept. You can find concept art for it around. It basically uses the gold scheme as well, but the main idea is that each of the five spires/turrets will receive a HUGE crown representing each of the decades it has been open. Other accents are included as well. It looks pretty cool IMHO, and it is different but just as good as WDW's.wondersofdave89 said:
