Christmas Tree in your room

We spend every Xmas at WDW. I always take a fiber optic tree. Last year I bought a Mickey tree on disneyshopping.com. It came decorated and was under $30, like $20, quite a bargain!

We brought this tree with us this past christmas for my 2 year old to get her presents. The stocking was purchased from disney florist(actually replacement for one lost by resort during delivery).

Should this thread be at the planning section? Because there are several threads regarding this matter.

Some people have their fake plastic trees shipped to the resort and sent back. I would rather pay $25-30 for shipping instead of a $400 tree.

Ok, this is probably a really dumb question, but .... you can only put a fake tree in your room, right? I would imagine a real one would be a fire hazard?

I hate to wake up a long dead thread

but i had this exact question, i'm guessing pretty confidently that a live tree even with mini lights would be a total no no for fire hazard reasons

but does anyone know for sure if there is an official policy on this?

just curious as they come in all sizes and sometimes you can find cute live little baby trees.

Me and my family were going to stay at orange lake at the condo as we do every trip and just buy a live tree and use our own ornaments then throw out the tree when we left.
