What are some fun things you love to do around the holidays at Disney? I love seeing the decorations go up and walking down Main Street, seeing all the wreaths, getting pictures by the tree... what are some park things you love doing/seeing? I know I'm a bit early, but this cold front has me excited for the holiday season! Are there any foods that come out around this time that you love? I also like the "Jingle" Cruise and not sweating to death only a couple hours into the day ;)

Nothing gives me the Christmas spirit like being in Disney! I could happily spend every Christmas season there is money allowed :)
The Christmas party at MK, the new Christmas show at DHS, looking at the gingerbread houses at the Grand Floridian, hot chocolate and people watching, and of course the different Christmas displays at Epcot :) I would add the Ozborne lights at DHS but it will make me cry thinking about it....

I am hoping someone can answer this question. We are thinking of purchasing annual passes as it comes with the photopass. Is there a place during the holiday season to have pictures taken with Santa, Santa Mickey, etc without going to the after hours Christmas Party event?

Minnie's Holiday Dine at Hollywood and Vine is another option to see Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy all dressed in their holiday best.

Santa is also at American Adventure in Epcot, until Christmas Eve.

We have an annual Disney Christmas trip that we've taken since 2011. We always arrive on Christmas Eve, and leave on New Year's Day. It is our tradition to book a Candlelight Lunch at Epcot on Christmas Eve, catch the Candlelight Processional, take the kids back to the resort, put them to bed, and then bring out all of the gifts from us and Santa.

Christmas morning we wake them up early, open all of the gifts, head to the Contemporary for Christmas Mass, and then grab breakfast at the Wave.

The rest of the trip is enjoying the Christmas season and bring in New Year's.

There should be, yes. Depends on when/where exactly you are going. Mr Claus will magically bounce between MK, DS and Epcot, (at least we saw him at all 3 locations a few years ago) and Mrs. Claus will usually join him in Epcot. Santa Goofy should show up at AK, and has done sets in DHS, and will fill in for Mr. Claus at DS after he leaves to deliver gifts and should stay until the New Year. The week or so before Christmas many of the resorts will get visits from Santa or various characters dressed in their holiday best.

Tour the resorts.
Get our picture taken with Santa, and yes I'm in my 60's.
Get a shingle at the Grand Floridian.
Purchase another decoration, we do that every visit no matter what time of year we visit.

Tour the resorts, MVMCP, Christmas Tree Trail, CP and Holidays Around the World. This is not Disney but we love Sea World Christmas as well.

We like going a couple weeks after thanksgiving. Holiday musts for us are going to GF and WL resorts for their decorations. IMO the best resort decorations on property. Inside the parks though we love taking our time around WS to hear each countries holiday history. I think Disney adding food like a festival was genius last year. I also love the Frozen characters loghting the Castle. We for our 1st time this year are doing MVMCP. So I’m sure that won’t disappoint.

Wasn't there some sort of Holiday drone show at DS last year? Is that coming back this year?

There was, it was so pretty! I'm surprised they never brought them out for other shows since, I feel like it would've been great to experiment with a show at animal kingdom... no fireworks but still beautiful! I hope they make a comeback this year!
