Christmas to New Years

I know its the worst time to go - trust me. But my kids love New Years Eve at Epcot.

I'm leaning towards Wilderness Lodge, with a Pirate room at Caribbean Beach second. What do you guys think? We've stayed at all of the resorts except for WL so that's why I'm leaning toward it this time. The Pirate room would be cool too...but the size of CB overwhelms me a bit. It sometimes takes forever to get a bus out of there.

So, I'll be making my reservation in the next week or so. What do you think???

I would go with WL. CBR is just way to spread out with far too many bus stops. If you are depending on Disney transportation I would avoid it.

Thanks guys.
We've been to WDW so many times, we do some of the rides, but its just taking in all of the Christmas lights, shows, resort decorations, etc (and especially the fireworks!) that we love so much. I think we probably will go with WL. I like knowing we'd be close to the MK, and the decor in WL at Christmas is amazing.

Is it too soon to start a countdown? :sohappy::sohappy::sohappy:

On NYE 2009, we stayed at the BWV (DVC) with a Boardwalk view and it was phenomenal, saw the early fireworks at EPcot and left the park around 11:30, walked to the BW and stood on our balcony above all the crowds on the BW and saw midnight fireworks at MK and Epcot from there. It was incredible. Would do it again in a heartbeat.

Try the Epcot hotels, they are right by Epcot so you can walk to the hotel afterwards,

The BW was really hopping also, it was just great!

Go with the WL. I think the pirate rooms at CBR are the farthest away from the food court area. (Aruba is one building with them.) I think you'll enjoy the festivity at the WL more.

We'll be there at the same time- but we stay at our home at Beach Club Villas. Nothing like WDW at the holidays...madness and all! :xmas:
