How early do they start setting up at all the parks for Xmas? What is the date they start putting up the Osbourne Lights and other things of larger prportions? Just wondering if anyone has this info. Thanks!!!

we were there in late august last year and they were already putting up the osbourne lights.

Around August/September is when they really start to kick in a put up the serious decorations. I believe this is also the same time of year when they change the Haunted Mansion in Disneyland.

Last year the Osborne lights started to go up in mid July. I know when we were there last year in late August they had them about 40% done and for me it was just way to early. I wanted to get some pictures on the Streets of America without the angels and spinning marquee, but that didn't happen. I would assume this year MK will be completely done by November 13th which is the first night of MVMCP. Epcot starts the holiday celebrations as of black Friday (the day after Thanksgiving) It seems like WDW has been slowly moving the holiday celebrations up each year. I hope this helps.
