The first week of January is usually one of the slower times. My December trip is to say goodbye too and i considered early January but ultimately opted for December because I still have a few vacation days to use this year.

Interesting about the phrasing "Say goodbye." My husband and I are also going Dec 4-7th and we're calling it the "visit DL before they ruin it forever" trip. We also looked at January, but didn't want to risk the Jan 10th date not being accurate about the ROA closures, so went with December to make sure we could get there. I hope thousands of other people aren't thinking the same thing! I went to DL this summer for the first time in 9 years, and my husband still hasn't been since 2006, so we have a lot of ground to cover fitting in all the things that will be changing, all the holiday stuff, and new to him things like Carsland.
The 6:30 DL Forever for Thanksgiving week is on disneyland.com now, so it's official. We'll see how it goes. Any word on snowfall after Forever? Will Live The Magic/Kiss Goodnight still play if DL does White Christmas/snowfall?
