I’m going 11/12 this year because the parents are in town early. We’ve been before and my mother LOVES IT. Personally I wish there was a bit more to the event like the Halloween one but we always have a good time.

I still haven't been to this (or Halloween party), but my wife and I are planning on taking our (now 3 month old) daughter in 2017. I know it's a long way out, but what all is there to do, besides the parade and, from what I understand, a few bonus M&G characters (I believe I've seen photos of the Dwarfs out for this party, but may be wrong)?

From what I've read, the characters are out in Christmas clothing, there's a special parade and fireworks show, M&Gs and free cookies and hot chocolate.

Went last night (10th). It was very busy the first hour. About 730 people were asked to show wrist for party wrist bans. By 800 was much better. 815 parade was great with most characters. 0900 castle lighting. 915 fireworks. All very nice. Hub was busy do not understand the big trees that block your view of castle and fireworks. After went to rides under midnight. Longest wait was 20 minutes on Peter Pan. 5 or 6 treat stations all same cookies or hot chocolate/apple juice. Bought very merry party pin. Snow all night and pictures up and down Main Street. Great evening rode most all rides and worth the extra money.
